Beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath home in a prestigious guard gated community in Indian Wells. Desi Arnaz developed, views toward the majestic rocks cliffs illuminated every night. This home has a private pool and lovely furnished loggia, with a mountain view - perfect for entertaining. Multiple sets of French doors brings the outside in!
The large master bedroom has a king bed, with French doors out to the pool area. The additional bedrooms have a queen and double bed. Convenient 3rd bathroom is right off the pool area with a dressing area and a shower. This home is tastefully furnished in mid-century style. With the wet bar just off the kitchen, Dean Martin would have shaken your martini discussing a trip to The Nest or The Cliffhouse, two piano lounges a block down Highway 111.
Open floor plan and central outdoor area create a very family friendly home. Location on the Indian Wells Country Club's Classic Golf course offers lovely evening/morning walks along the course, under the spotlighted mountains. Views of hawks, night owls and other desert wildlife are common.
Within the Country Club, but particularly for Manitou Springs where the house is located across a small bridge from the main club, the streets are very quiet with most activity from golf carts. Grapefruit and lemon trees are plentiful and most times of the year, you'll be sipping unbeatable fresh squeezed juice.
Each part of the year is lovely in Indian Wells. In Season, you can expect a wide variety of cultural activities available, including Indian Wells' award winning lecture series which every year includes four globally recognized speakers (in the last few years this has included President George Bush Senior, Colin Powell, Whoopi Goldberg among many more.) You'll also find a variety of theatre and musical concerts throughout the valley, including Michel Buble, Don Rickles, and others. In Off-Season, the pace is slower to suite the warmer temperatures. Just as lovely, the lower traffic in the desert will spell absolute silence. Ideal for reading by the pool or listening to music and feeling you are the only ones.
The restaurants of Palm Desert's El Paseo are less than 10 minutes away. Recently completed, the Indian Wells Club House has opened across the street from the Country Club and includes two golf courses, which have just received a $50 million upgrade. The glorious La Quinta Resort and Spa is just 10 minutes the other direction, with an array of golf courses, a world regarded spa, and grounds that are worth a walk.
