This Moorish-style villa has open patios with incredible views of the Sierra Juarez Mountains. Master weaver Demetrio Bautista Lazo weaves rugs on the property and offers workshops about natural dyes. His wife, Maribel, offers cooking classes in traditional Zapotec cuisine. The restaurant is for guests only and serves Oaxacan moles, tlayudas, arracheras, and much, much more.
We are very near Mitla, Yagul, Dainzu, Lambityeco, and Monte Alban archaeological sites. Incredible ruins and photo opportunities. Tlacolula is a rural market town and only 10 minutes away.
Classes in rug-making and natural dyes may be booked from this site also.
