  So great! Everything about the whole experience was just so great! The owners were wonderful and the place blew me and my fiance away! The view is the best you will find on the whole coast I kid you not! my only complaint is that it isn't mine. Book your stay now you it will change your life!

  This is what you see in the movies coupled with the fact that it is really relaxing also! Do everything you can to stay here you will not regret it! Honestly it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. The view, the place, the pool, the proximity to everything (surf, restaurants, groceries, etc). I will return!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Having this villa welcome us at the end of a long journey into Costa Rica was a delight for everyone in our family. We loved the breathtaking views of the shore (check out the wave conditions before hitting the beach). It is tucked privately high above the dusty streets of town - incredible stargazing after sunset. Minutes away from the best surfing in the country -- we got to experience the local surf community yet get up and away from the noise and bustle. The incredible indoor/outdoor pool let us keep an eye on the kids at all times and have the option to swim in the shade when the sun is high in the sky. Comfortably and stylishly decorated - lots of spots for everyone to lounge out of the heat; definitely enough space for everyone to be comfortable and have privacy. Clean and safe -- all the staff were helpful and warm and easy to approach if we needed anything. The grounds were immaculate and filled with delights like a starfruit tree, vine arbour, countless hibiscus flowers. The owners directed us to excellent restaurants (Zula, Kika) and gave terrific suggestions for family-friendly activities (like nearby wildlife rescue centre Rainsong). It's not easy to please kids and parents both but we all came away from here relaxed and happy. It was hard to leave -- we'd recommend it to all.

  We had the great pleasure of staying at La Luxuria in December 2010. We were two families with kids from 1 to 13 years old and we all had a blast. The house is completely furnished, well maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. We cooked most of our meals there and enjoyed them on the patio. The infinity pool with it's magnificent view was the area where we spent most of our time. The house is in a secluded area on top of the mountain while at the same time beeing only a 3 minute drive to the village and the beach. It truly offers the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend this place

  We had an AMAZING time at La Luxuria house in March 2012. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the spectacular panoramic view of the turquoise beach.that was right in front of us. After going up a steep hill, I felt like we just landed in a little private piece of paradise. The staff was very friendly, extremely curteous and helpful to make your stay enjoyable. The house itself was beautiful and perfect: spotless from the lush garden, the magnificent indoor-outdoor Infinity pool to the gorgeous bedrooms and convenience. It was truly superb in very single way. Restaurants, bars and the beach were all close to the residence but one must get a rental car to get around town and explore. This first-class residence has truly blown me away and you can tell the friendly owners were zealous on maintenance, good service and cleanliness. It was peaceful and immaculate. I cannot rave enough about this perfect stay in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. We loved it, and so will you.

If you like beautiful set ups, adventure, the feeling of freedom and complet disconnect from the city; La Luxuria inSanta Teresa is painfully beautiful and is definitely for you! You own private modern villa, spaceful and beautifully decorated along with an exquisit view! You can walk around in your bathingsuits & your Havaianas all week! In the village located just down the mountain, you can learn how to surf and how to practice yoga. There is also a nice variety of great restaurants for all tastes. You can find fun and exciting activities to do everyday, or, you have the choice of staying at the villa and enjoying one of the best set ups of Santa Teresa.
