Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: I love the west coast of FL but live in Long Island, NY during the year. I am the VP of Advertising for a a financial media company and my husband retired from the financial community several years ago but recently passed away. We have had the opportunity a few times to spend early fall in Estero and given up our unit for rental just in time for it to get cold in NY! People think we are crazy going north when everyone comes to FL, but work calls! I have not been able to be there nearly enough as I would like so it's great to have renters who appreicate being there.
Why the Owner Chose Island Sound I:
We were investigating the community for my parents. We fell in love with it, but ultimately my folks waited to move to FL. Two years went by and after spending several vacations with relatives in Naples, we decided to take the plunge. We headed straight back to Pelican Sound and bid on 2 units. And we haven't regretted it!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The best thing to say here is that I feel like a different person when able to spend time in Estero. Life is wonderful, the weather is spectacular and the people are very nice. I wish every day made me feel as happy and healthy as when there.
