Year Purchased: 2006
We love the west coast of FL but live in Long Island, NY during the year. I am the VP of Advertising for a large website and my husband retired from the financial community several years ago. Every year we spend early fall in Estero and give up our unit for rental just in time for it to get cold in NY! People think we are crazy going north when everyone comes to FL, but work calls! :-)
Why the Owner Chose Island Sound I
We were investigating the community for my parents. We fell in love with it, but ultimately my folks waited to move to FL. Two years went by and after spending several vacations with relatives in Naples, we decided to take the plunge. We headed straight back to Pelican Sound and bid on 2 units. And we haven't regretted it!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The best thing to say here is that my husband and I feel like different people when we are able to spend time in Estero. Life is wonderful, the weather is spectacular and the people are very nice. I wish every day made us feel as happy and healthy as when we are there.
