My wife and I stayed here recently with our 20 month old son for our 4th wedding anniversary. We love this area of the state and try and get back a few times a year. We have always stayed on the coast, but this time chose Boonville to do some sightseeing in local area as opposed to Mendocino. The house is clean, tidy, and quiet and set back from highway 128 about a 1/4 mile or so. Evenings were gorgeous and star filled. Nancy and Charles were just a call away if we needed anything (such as a crab cracker for some fresh Dungeness crab). The pictures on VRBO accurately reflect the house and rooms and I'd definitely recommend to others to stay here.
Owner response:It is a great idea to make Boonville, and the Foursight Guest House, your home base for exploring the Anderson Valley, Mendocino coast and inland valleys. Within a 50 mile radius you can go wine or micro-brew tasting, see redwood forests, quaint coastal towns, or play at the beach or inland lakes. ...Or just relax in the peaceful vineyard setting of our Guest House.

The location is ideal for wine tasting, brew tasting and food in the Anderson Valley. The house is very clean and comfortable. My wife enjoyed sitting on the couch and watching the fog as it lingered along the hillside. Nice front deck and lawn area with furniture to enjoy the afternoons.

Our stay at the guest house was fantastic. The house, yard and location within the Valley made for a completely enjoyable family vacation. We made day trips for activities that will make for lasting memories. (Point Arena, horseback riding, Lake Mendocino and the Hendy Woods). Thank you for the hospitality and the opportunity to enjoy the Anderson Valley; I began to feel like a local by the end of the trip. We look forward to another chance to stay at the property.
Owner response:It is marvelous to watch children enjoying the guest house outdoor area....playing in the sprinkler.....catching baby frogs.....while parents, savoring a glass of Anderson Valley wine, watch from the shade.

Stayed here over New Years weekend and it was perfect. The cottage was very quiet at night. Slept in every morning! Loved the wood bunring stove. Kept the place nice and warm. Anderson Valley has so much to offer even in winter. Great wine tasting and the coast is only 45min. away. Weather was perfect for January.

We stayed at the cottage over Thanksgiving weekend, booked for two nights, but couldn’t resist the comfort of the house and beauty of surrounding area, and had to call Nancy and ask for one more night. The cottage is very clean, nice and cosy, you’ll find everything you need in the house, and owners are just a telephone call away from helping if you need anything. The property is close to many wineries, the surrounding is beautiful, you can see the redwood forest beyond the valley, The brewery is just a 15min walk. Pictures don’t give a justice to this place. We are planning to come back, and I would totally recommend it for your next vacation to Anderson Valley

Cute, cozy, well maintained cottage. Wonderful setting with a beautiful view. Was very comfortable for our family of five. Enjoyed the company of Sparky the cat and the horses near by. Nice walk into town past the vineyard. Big yard to sit and take in the view. The view is much more spectacular then the pictures reveal.

We completely enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed watching the horses graze across the driveway while we sat outside on the comfortable wicker furniture on the lawn and took in the country setting. Lauren’s Place in Boonville is a short, tranquil walk for a casual supper. Along the way we passed the family owned and operated winery, and during tasting hours, dropped in for samples of excellent wine and hospitality. The Guest House, with it’s cozy living room and well equipped kitchen is just right for two couples. We only wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you for the great weekend retreat and your hospitality.

Great location, fabulous hosts, superb wine, and just a 15 min walk to the brewery (or a short drive to other solid wineries)! What more could you ask for? Perfect cozy spot for family and/or friends, and if you're nice enough, you might get a quick boontling lesson. We'll be back!

Nancy and Bill Charles are very gracious hosts. We had a great time staying at this cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped, the furnishings are very comfortable, and most importantly in the summer, the AC works great! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

My wife and I stayed at the guest house over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house and property are both lovely and we especially loved our special 'host,' Sparky the cat. Can't wait to visit again!

I cannot imagine a better place to stay: the cabin is just perfect for all kinds of reasons. It is close to town if you want to walk; it is fully accessible to all the vineyards; and it is a warm and cozy place in which you can cook and relax. Finally, Nancy, the owner, is very accomodating and friendly, just what a visitor needs.
