Villa Atitlan is, without question, the most luxurious villa available for rental at the renowned Lake Atitlan. Located in an area of the lake locally known as “mansion row” the three bedroom/three bath villa, with 100 meters/335 feet of private Lake Frontage was designed for demanding North American owners whose prior homes have been the topic of multiple magazine articles. Two architectural firms and an engineering firm participated in a two year design process. The design criteria required that the villa not compete with its setting or the view yet provide all conveniences with casual but understated elegance. Completed with German windows and exterior doors, custom tile, custom interior doors and numerous high end fixtures, no expense was spared in this spectacular home. Often rented by 5 star resorts for their clients, the villa is now available for direct rental from the owners at a fraction of the resort rate.
Great Room: The three walls of glass provide panoramic views of the lake, volcanoes and Parankaya River. The living area is furnished with a leather sectional sofa and custom chairs. The fully equipped kitchen, also with magnificent views, is furnished with cherry cabinets, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances (including a wine cooler). The dining area has seating for 6. Additional dining for 4 is available at the kitchen bar area.
Master Suite: The expansive master suite, with large glass doors has wonderful views of the lake, volcanoes and river. It is furnished with a custom king size bed and headboard with memory foam mattress. There are two seating areas, a walk in closet and large master bath with double vanity.
Upper Guest Suite: The upper suite, also with views of the lake, volcanoes and river, is furnished with a custom king size bed with memory foam mattress ample closet space and bath.
Lower Guest Suite: The lower suite, with private bath, offers the same views as the upper suite but is furnished with two single beds. The lower suite also offers a private entrance.
The terraced gardens are maintained by a full time staff and have several areas to enjoy outdoor dining or sunbathing and stone steps lead down to the lake.
Lake Atitlan enjoys perfect weather year round. The temperatures are in the low 70s to 80 during the day and mid 60s in the evening.
