Laguna Beach holds many fond childhood memories. Staying at this Beach Cottage was a great experience. We are avid walkers and once we drove in, our car was not used often. The location is ideal and everything is in walking distance. The management was very helpful and easy to contact. The kitchen was completely furnished and provided everything except "cooking the meal"! The laundry facilities were a bonus and so easy to use and not have to leave the cottage. Listening to the surf at night and seeing it upon rising was a peaceful way to end and begin each day. Yes, we definitely plan to return and would honestly recommend the Beach Cottage .

This studio apt. in Laguna Beach is delightful! Small in size but large in access to all of Laguna Beach. With parking at a premium, you can walk to the beach, the park, restaurants, shops, art galleries, the bank, post office, market, etc. The apt. is comfortable and clean. A favorite spot is the deck off the bedroom where you can view the ocean and the amazing sunsets. Having the apt. pet-friendly was a big plus since we travel with a small dog. I highly recommend this studio apt. if you're planning a stay in Laguna Beach.

My husband and I stayed here late September with our little dog Ziva. The unit is perfect for 2 people. Bob, the owner, was very hospitable and eager to make our stay comfortable. The unit has a lovely ocean view and we could hear the waves crash at night. Despite its small size we had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable with ample bedding. Plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen is well stocked even though there is only a hotplate and convection oven. There is a large barbeque in the back of the unit where there is also a cute dining table that will seat 4. Walking distance to the village and Main beach. The location is very quiet. Every detail has been thought of including fans, blankets, and space heaters. Plenty of closet space. Location, location, location! We highly recommend this little place!

I stayed in the back cottage with the great Tuscan patio. The patio was awesome for entertaining friends after an afternoon of shopping. the location was perfect...just a short (uphill) walk from all the downtown activities. The property was a bit smaller than it looked on the ad, but not too small for our stay. The owner was helpful and available. I would recommend this spot to my friends! but it would be difficult for people with disabilities due to the height of the property.

I stayed here for the third time this past September and was again pleased with the size (convenient for one or two people), the layout of the unit and it's location - easy walking distance to town or the beach. The owner is quite helpful. I hope to return again.

We rented the Bent St. studio on short notice during the last of the Festival of Arts and would do it again without hesitation. The studio is small (well it IS a studio), but very comfortable. Bob has obviously thought about what most travelers need and met those needs. For instance, for travelers who have other stops planned, there is a washer and dryer in the back of the building. The kitchen is small, but efficient and has everything you need as long as you aren't planning a large, complicated meal (you are on vacation, after all). The location couldn't be better for walking over to the festival, farmer's market, downtown, grocery store, restaurants, and the beach. For one or two people, the studio works beautifully. There is a much better view from the upstairs rental so if no one is staying there, you can climb the stairs and look out over the railing. Bob returned our deposit very promply and answered several questions before we got there.

The studio was perfect for me. It was small, but adequate for 1 or 2 people, and well equipped for simple cooking. The location was wonderful; I didn't have a car, didn't need one, and was glad I didn't have to bother with parking. Bob was really great. He couldn't cash my check and had to wait 2 days for me to take care of this problem. He told me not to worry, he wasn't. I did a lot of research before I selected this rental and once there was convinced I made the best choice for me. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely gorgeous little property that was a delight to stay in. Not only was it lovely and clean, tastefully decorated and well maintained but there were so many little extras that helped to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyayble. The owner was incredibly helpful and kind and I would most definately recommend this property to any of my friends and family.

I stayed at this Laguna Beach studio in June 2011 for 10 days. The apartment was perfect! The proximity to the village, the beach and shopping was perfect. I loved the view and the weather was perfect. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading or enjoying the view. Daily walks were easy and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Laguna Beach.

The apartment is just right for anyone who wants easy access to the ocean, the wonderful shops and even Whole Foods Market! The view is beautiful and everything was comfortable and clean. The owner was helpful and made the process for access and payment easy. We would stay there again.

When I found Bob's listing for this adorable studio cottage, my first thought was "Could this really be as good as it looks?" Yes it could and did! The photos just spoke my name - the decor, the paned windows and door going out to a nice size deck with a lovely view of the ocean. How much better could it get? The photos represented it clearly. It was clean and stocked well enough for a studio and our needs. Bob, the owner was very friendly and helpful and his directions were very clear and it was easy to find. I needed a place for only 4 nights and I wasn't sure I'd have a car so wanted it within walking distance of the shops, galleries, restaurants and beach. It sits just up above the main part of town and is an easy walk down and up. It turned out my friend was able to join me and the only time we used his car was to go to Capistrano. We walked to the grocery store and were able to barbecue on the back patio, have breakfast or a drink in the evening on the deck. And, Bob, even gave us permission to use the the larger deck upstairs where there was a larger unit not being occupied. We walked every morning down into town to have an espresso and croissant at this lovely bakery then strolled through town or on the beach then strolled down to the restaurants and galleries at night. If you love Gelato don't miss the one that's down a little recessed "alley" with shops and restaurants - right across from the Hotel Laguna. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and hope to return again and again. It's a keeper!

My husband and I stayed in this cozy cottage all of last February. It is luxurious, though small. We had everything we needed at a reasonable price. Bob, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. Every day we could walk to a different downtown location for a meal, live music and to watch the spectacular sunsets. Laguna Beach is the most sought-after beach in Southern Calif., so upscale, such lovely beaches. The ocean view from the balconey is very relaxing. The unit is 4 or 5 blocks from the sand and we walked there every day, to sit and enjoy the beach. The temps are very pleasant in the winter, rarely needed a jacket. I would recommend this location.

I spent four nights at this rental in January of 2011 and it was perfect for what I was looking for. Just a three block walk to the heart of Laguna Beach and four blocks to the ocean. Spectacular view of the ocean from the deck off the sleeping area. The sunsets are amazing. The rental is small -- but ideal for one to two people. It's cozy, it's very clean and the owner was very easy to work with. I am planning another trip to Laguna in the near future and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

After spending the Thanksgiving holiday with spouse and Golden Retriever in this lovely unit, I can truly say that this VRBO was one of the finest I have stayed in, and we are traveling fools! The unit has an awesome ocean view, is tastefully decorated, comfortable, bright and cozy, and all the little details were not forgotten. We stayed there for our honeymoon. Romantic, secluded yet we could walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Beach cottage decor and kitchenette made it cozy. We loved having coffee on the balcony and listening to the ocean at night. Owner was friendly and personable. An affordable getaway in one of the most romantic beach locations in California!

We enjoyed our stay at the Laguna Beach Cottage and would definitely stay there again. We didn't even need our car as it is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. It was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. The owner was helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions.
