This home is gorgeous and is just two blocks to the Jardin (El Jardin is the beautiful central plaza overlooking the main church). The home is a completely renovated spanish colonial right in Centro Historico and is also just 1 block from Warren Hardy Spanish Language School.
Beautifully decorated 2,200 square feet with new and comfortable furniture and beds, quality linens and original artwork. The house features many Spanish colonial details including high ceilings, wooden beams, fountains, canterra stone-work, arches, custom tile, fireplaces…everything you expect in a San Miguel home but with all of the modern conveniences.
The formal living room, dining room and modern kitchen are on the main floor along with a half bath. The second floor has a very large and luxurious master bedroom featuring new US KING bed, ensuite, fireplace, Juliet balconies, office area and large TV. This floor also has a spacious guest bedroom with twin beds, full bath and it’s own charming tiny courtyard with fountain. The third floor features a large terrace and a den/TV room with a flat screen, comfy furniture and another full bath.
If you have rented in San Miguel before you know how important it is to have filtered water throughout the house with a pressurized water system as well as wireless internet, cable TV and a local phone line. The house has all appliances including a washer/dryer unit with steam, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stainless fridge with icemaker, microwave and gas stove, coffee maker and toaster. The kitchen is stocked with proper dishware, glasses, cutlery, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Our wonderful maid, Carmen, comes once per week for 4-5 hours and is included in your rent. She is also available for extra days if you desire.
When you are comparing rental options don’t forget that everything in this home is quality, new, in working order and comfortable and, unlike many ads that say only a few blocks to the Jardin, in this case it’s true! Also, the property is highly secure in terms of personal safety in both its location and physical design and structure.
