COME TO CASA MAYA! In the Caribbean -- on the beach -- A unique and spacious three bedroom, three-1/2 bathroom private house within easy access to Mayan Ruins, Cancun, Cozumel, snorkeling, and scuba adventures.

Located just 20 minutes south of Cancun Airport and 30 minutes from Downtown Cancun is Casa Maya. This unusual Mayan-styled house sits directly on the beach in the small fishing Village of Puerto Morelos, population 1200. Enjoy yourself in cool airy rooms and large open terraces arranged tastefully in this 3000 square foot casa. Enjoy watching the sunrise each day -- from the master bedroom, the living room, or the dining room.

Settle into the relaxed lifestyle and slow pace of Puerto Morelos, the pueblo that has recently been named a "National Reef Park" due to its ecological measures taken to save this portion of the Palancar Reef, the world's second largest. Pristine and still untouched, both town and reef offer an alternative to the typical tourist package.

Designed in the style of a modern-day pyramid, Casa Maya's white tile decor is set off by Mayan art and artifacts inside and a Mayan-relief facade on the exterior. Curved walls structured to take advantage of tropical breezes keep Casa Maya cool and well ventilated. Comfortably furnished, the house sleeps six people.

A well-equipped kitchen enables you to experiment in Yucatan style cooking, or if you prefer to dine out, Puerto Morelos offers many restaurants from which to choose. Full-time caretakers, who live in a separate cottage on the premises, will provide daily maid and gardening services (for the lush tropical garden and koi pond). Bottled water is supplied.

Casa Maya has the advantage of bringing the Caribbean Sea to your doorstep every morning and evening -- in the confines of a luxurious home -- as well as giving you a wide range of Yucatan adventures to choose from by day. Swim directly from our beach, one-quarter mile to the reef and snorkel in aqua blue waters with tropical fish.

Explore the ancient Mayan Ruins nearby in Tulum or Coba, both only a short drive from Puerto Morelos. Closer to home are romantic Cozumel and Isla Mujeres, two islands easily accessible by ferry service. No matter what your preference may be in daily activities, be assured that by day's end you can be sipping a margarita on the terrace of Casa Maya and sleeping at night with the sound of waves lapping softly in your ears.
