Delightful, comfortable, and everything that you described your property to be! We SO enjoyed our stay for the week of 7/30-8/6. I could not get over the many, many "pluses" - having a cabinet w/ seasoning salt (when I had forgotten it) was a small thing but one of the many, many that made your house into our home for the week. The master bed was beyond comfortable. (I meant to look at the brand) And having the golf cart was fabulous!!! In fact, we came home and bought one. Your lively colors scheme and decor were perfect for vacation. We'd never stayed at OSV and were beyond thrilled w/ what it offered. Met w. Betsy and looked at several properties. Again, thank you for making this wonderful home available to us. If we don't buy one, we will definitely rent again. YOU were so kind and helpful. Thanks for calling to check on us too! Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Myrtle Beach area! We loved the house and the use of the golf cart! We have stayed in other houses in Oceanside Village in the past, and I think this was the best. It is located near the front of the development, which was convienient for quick trips to the Bi-Lo grocery store. The golf cart allowed us to get to the beach, pool, and play area quickly and comfortably. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need to have a great stay at the beach. The house was very clean and well maintained. We were very pleased with everything and would definitely stay here again.

Hey Paul & Darlene We have made it home! It took us 12 hours...crazy traffic backed up before the tunnels, took us 40 minutes to go 10 miles it was hot cars broken down on the sides of the roads..but we are here wishing we were back at the house. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed it! Paul you were right there was nothing there we did not need, home away from home! We will contact you guys for next year also I MISS IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!! (14 Day visit for Spring Break) Beautiful weather for the most part. Really enjoyed going to the beach in the morning to jog.The kids would come and ride their bikes on the beach.We really enjoyed all of the great shopping. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us. We had absolutley everything that we needed. The house was very comfortable and clean. (Stayed entire month of March) Had only a few good days at the beach. It was GREAT for Dick's golf. We spent 2 days in Charleston. Dick golfed 2-3 times each week. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very well equipped inside and out! Beamor Point, New York

(Stayed the entire month of February 2011) We loved staying in your house. Thank-you for letting us rent from you. Our boys loved all the books and coloring books. My husband enjoyed cooking on the grill, even with the cold nights. We walked to the playground and indoor pool everyday and we loved riding the golf cart to the beach.The house and this community was EXACTLY what we were looking for and we had a GREAT vacation .

What a wonderful, clean and family oriented place to stay! After a 14+ hour drive we were so happy to walk in to an imaculate home!!! Everything we needed was there. The pictures only show part of the warmth of Darlene and Paul's home. So peaceful to sleep at night. Both of our children (4 and 8) loved the play room off the kitchen - it was their little hide out! We all felt like it was our home away from home. Thanks again for such a wonderful place to stay! We will go back without a doubt!!! Highly recommend this place too. The weather was rainy and chilly. We spent a day in Charleston, SC. (Great Day trip) where we walked the water front and a boat ride to Ft Sunter. We ate at Longbeards and Bonefish Grille- both were very tasty places to eat!!We had afun relaxing visit, hopefully next time the weather will be alittle more cooperative and we can spend more time on the beach!

The weather was very hot and sunny.Most of all we liked hanging out at the beach and making sandcastles.We also enjoyed the village where we went swimming, fishing and feed the ducks.We really liked the "Conch Cafe". It was our favorite.Thanks for everything. We had a wonderful vacation as a family. We played lots of connect 4 and making breakfast together. Riding the golf cart to the beach made life so much easier. We really loved it here!Lots of great memories were made this week!

Our fourth year staying at Oceanside Village was definitely the best - thanks to Paul and Darlene and their wonderful place! Although we have stayed at OSV three times before, this is the first house that I truly wish to use again next year (and hopefully even before summer). The house has everything you need, everything is easy to find and use, they had all the beach equipment we could ever need, and so much more! A very pleasant stay that was topped off by the owners being honest, supportive, and in general, just an example of some really great people. Thanks, and we hope to be back soon!

Our second year at Paul & Darlene's house. We could not find a better place to have a vacation. Our kids and grandkids have just loved the house the beach,swimming pool,volleyball and the GOLF CART plus all the rest of the Oceanside Village. We can let them go as a group and everyone looks out for them and treats them well. Will be back again next year.

Gorgeous weather.Our favorite pastime was out on the beach. We also enjoyed watching the MAMA aand PAPA swans walking their babies. Water aerobics at the indoor pool was also great! River City Cafe has awesome burgers!Wonderful friendly neighbors. We were here for the annual OSV yard sale. Lots of fun loading the golf cart to capacity. Thank-you Darlene !

Our favorit adventure was taking the golf cart to the beach. Also a day at Pawley's Island where we found a very secluded beach-beautiful.We also enjoyed playing bocce.Your home is lovely and very comfortable. Thanks for sharing it with us.( 4 week rental)

We did get some rain from Tropical Storm Hanna during the night. The rest of the trip was beautiful.The grandkids loved riding the golf cart and feeding the ducks. Swimming in the indoor pool was another favorite activity. They also enjoyed talking to your friendly neighbors and petting their dogs. This was a wonderful vacation for our family. We enjoyed the home. The decor always kept an "At the Beach" feeling. We had riding around the community on the golf cart and liked the convenience of the location to the beach, as well as the no hassle parking.We found everything we needed was at our fingertips. Thank-you Paul and Darlene for allowing me to bring my granddaughter to the beach for her first visit.
