We encourage you to inquire about the Octopus Garden which sits adjacent to the house. We ask that you let us know if you are visiting the garden (Doggies are NOT invited to enter the Octopus Garden due to the delicate nature of the plant. You do, however, have a large fenced-in back yard behind the home for doggies to run :))
The OCTOPUS SCULPTURE GARDEN has been on the Lincoln County Garden Tour, has been presented in the Coast Style Quarterly, and is the ideal location for that one-of-a-kind WEDDING, Re-Nup, or Commitment Celebration! This whimsical garden with its wind-vaning fish mobiles and other secret delights is guaranteed to bring a smile!

Hello, we are Terry and Toni Schumacher. Terry was raised in Arizona, while Toni is a native Oregonian. We met here at the coast - appropriate since we both feel whole when on the beach with our Aussies... Theo, Razzberrie, Rusty, and DB Cooper. There is no place more fulfilling than right here on the gorgeous Lincoln Beach.
Why the Owner Chose Gleneden Beach
Gleneden Beach is an eclectic community located 3 miles north of Depoe Bay and 6 miles south of Lincoln City. It's a great place for walking, bike riding, and beachcombing. The house and gardens sit just a two minute walk to six miles of gorgeous, sandy, sometimes agaty, dynamic Lincoln Beach! We live to the west of the Octopus Garden Estate, and realized that this was the perfect location to provide a bit of sanctuary for those who also feel the need to relax at the beach.

This comfortable home defines serenity and privacy - thus giving you the sense of being in the woods ... while at the beach! You can hear and smell the ocean from the house as well as from the Octopus Garden.
We get to enjoy The Octopus Garden Estate's beauty and serenity vicariously via our guests. There is much to do in this area, including Beachcombing, Fishing, Whale Watching, Surfing, Shopping, Dining Out (or in, for that matter :), Glass-blowing, Hiking, Horseback Riding, and much more! The smells and sounds of the ocean drift into the home, thus allowing that deep cleansing breath of fresh air needed to ease the rigors of daily life.
