Located deep in the award-winning LEGENDS community, one to six guests will enjoy the peaceful serenity of this gated quiet and private vacation retreat while having the option of participating in this active community’s many amenities—Golf, Tennis, Resort Pool & Sun Deck, Walking/Biking Trails, Fitness Center, and Fine Dining and Entertainment!
The spacious ASCOT floor plan features a Great Room design with Morning Kitchen & Dining Room area, 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths, plus Den/Bedroom, 2-Car Garage, Laundry Room, Heated Pool and Spa, and upgraded floor and carpet treatments throughout.
Newly furnished this past year, the Great Room boasts oversized reclining sofa and love seats overlooking an entertainment center. The Master Bedroom Suite features a luxurious new king-sized bed, a large “his ‘n her” walk-in closet, dual bathroom vanities, a walk-in shower, deluxe soaking bathtub, and a private water closet. To further enhance your private paradise, dual sliding-glass doors open directly to the enclosed Lanai providing a serene view of the golf course and lake and morning sunrise.
The Guest Bedroom features two twin-sized beds that can be moved together to create a spacious king and the Den is equipped with a sleeper sofa and has privacy curtains to cover the French doors. Use of a computer and wireless Internet is also included.
Our home has been furnished and decorated to provide an elegant and distinctive “Florida Feel” complimenting the spectacular views provided by double glass sliders out to the Lanai from the Great Room and French doors from the Kitchen Dining area. You can choose to dine at our large circular serving bar in the kitchen, our elegant glass-topped table with seating for six in the dining area, or enjoy the ultimate “alfresco” experience using the Lanai patio—all locations providing a relaxing view of golf fairways and serene lakes. For your ultimate convenience, the outside Summer Kitchen on the Lanai even features an outdoor grill, sink and bar refrigerator.
The Legends Golf and Country Club is a gated community that covers over 650 acres offering 2 1/2 miles of walking trails, six lighted soft-surface tennis courts, a resort style heated pool with tropical waterfall, hot tub and expansive sun deck. The Clubhouse contains two areas for fine and casual dining, full bar, game rooms with billiard tables, and a state-of-the-art technology center with up to date computers and high-speed Internet. Designed by Joe Lee, Legends’ 18 Hole par 72 Championship Golf Course was voted top golf course in the “Best of Southwest Florida” for two years in a row. It includes an aquatic driving range, chipping/bunker range, and large putting green. Beneficial use of the owner’s membership of the Golf and Country Club is available for all guests who lease the home. The Club also has reciprocal facilities with over 75 golf clubs in the Fort Myers/Naples area.
The Legends is close to the center of everything you’d want to experience in Southwest Florida. We’re less than 15 miles from the airport (with no airport noise), 10 minutes from the Lee County Sports Complex (the Minnesota Twins Baseball spring training camp), and the world-renowned Fort Myers Beaches, as well as Sanibel & Captiva Islands, are just a 20-30 drive from your vacation home. Rental Period is for a minimum of one month. However, accommodations may be made for additional week/days before/after the rental month to oblige your traveling flexibility needs. Preferred rates may be made for multiple-month rentals.
Half (1/2) rent is due with reservation and is non-refundable.
Remaining rent plus $1000 security deposit due one month prior to occupancy.
There is a $200 exit-cleaning fee.
Prices do not include County and State Taxes or optional Golf Transfer Fee.

We’re Jim & Barb Bender and we’d like to extend our welcome and invite you to make our home your vacation getaway in paradise. Introduced to the LEGENDS by friends a few years ago, we instantly fell in love with the community as well as the warm and relaxing lifestyle of the area. This past year was the first time we opened our home to guests and it’s been our good fortune to host wonderful people who have enjoyed their stay—please check out their comments below!

This month has flown by. Couldn't have asked for better weather-an average 75 with a slight breeze and only one short rainfall the whole time was wonderful. This house is so lovely and comfortable. Our children and their families came down for visits and it was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. The flora and fauna are exquisite. Couldn't have asked for better hosts. Barb and Jim were attentive to our comfort and helpful in every way. Thank you for a great experience!

This is our 3rd year at the Legends but our first at Jim and Barb's house. This was our best year by far! This is a gorgeous home and a lovely area of the Legends. We had an issue with the fridge and the fridge was replaced within hours. This shows how service-oriented Jim and Barb are. We have renewed our lease for next year and we are already looking forward to our next stay in March 2012. Thanks for everything -- Marcel & Jocelyne, Oakville, Ontario

It will be very difficult to duplicate another month like we have experienced at the Legends in your beautiful home. First the weather has been spectacular! We were able to play as much golf and tennis as we wanted. We very much enjoyed biking and walking the different neighborhoods within the Legends. We found a wonderful restaurant in the "Blue Point" -- loved their fish. Most importantly it was time spent as family! Thank you -- Dennis & Ann, Long Grove, Il.

The month has gone by so quickly and now we have to head home. we had a wonderful time at the Legends and at Jim and Barb's lovely vacation home. It was everything they said. The people were all so friendly. All in all it was a great time. We hope to come back to Fort Myers soon.

We have enjoyed our time here with so much to see and do. The house was great and we enjoyed our time here. We did a lot of sightseeing with being first time visitors. We did the boat trip to Key West - that was an adventure to be sure. We visited friends on Marco Island, in Naples and in Port Charlotte. We had some friends from Bonita Springs to golf with us. We had 3 couples over for dinner and card night just like we all do at home but we were here instead. AND we shopped, much to Neal's chagrin. I saw my first alligators and manatees. Our youngest son, his wife and two children came for a few days visit and the little ones really enjoyed the pool. They are like little fish and don't care how warm or cool the water is. Your neighbor kindly lent us their small table and chairs for the children to use. That was kind. We will do our best to leave your lovely home like we found it. Thank you for sharing it with us. It was a great place for us to get around being so close to I-75. We did not golf as much as we had hoped but found there was just too many other things to do. The course was really nice and the people could not have been friendlier.
