This was one of the most relaxing vacations that we have had. Loved the hardwood floors in the house, along with the speakers for the music all around the outside. My husband had an excellent time fishing and watching the dolphins come up to the entrance of the canal.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Dear Sue Ann and Jerry Where to start? The mornings watching the sunrise Off the back deck? The outstanding view AT All Times of the day?The perfect time it took to walk the beach?The beach that was so beautiful and we loved finding so many shells? The house and how comfortable it was and Dog friendly? The Amazing Relaxing and fabulous pool, pool area with shade at all times etc etc etc Our family has the Best Week; Our one complaint: time goes too fast in LBK!!

Jerry and Sue We had a wonderful week, it went by too fast. I tried to think of our favorite things and decided there were too many to name them all. The dolphins playing at the edge of the canal and the starfish our son found down by the wooden post were the biggest highlights. God has blessed you both with your own little piece of heaven and we want to thank you for sharing it with us.

We have been visiting LBK since the 70's. This vacation by far has been the BEST. not only for the wonderful home with all its amenities but visiting our favorite restaurants, riding the bikes, going to the beach and the Great location. This house is equipped with everything and its like being at home. I don't know when we slept so well and have been totally relaxed. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home and allowing our beloved pets, to stay with us. I can't wait to return.

My family had an absolute relaxing vacation. Thank you both for providing such a wonderful vacation home. Very, very well stocked with anything we could have needed. My family had a wonderful week at your home in Longboat Key. The Dolphins made surprise appearance for all to enjoy. Renting a kayak was so easy. We love the elevator, making it easy for one and all. My family has been renting this house for three years now. It feels like our own vacation home. It is very comfortable, and it is well maintaineded. My boys love the swimming pool. It is near lots of fishing spots, public tennis courts, and nice restaurants. We go for many bike rides. During our last visit, we went to a baseball game and my son caught a ball. We can't wait to go back there again.

Jerry Thank you so much for a divine vacation - your home is magnificent. It will be hard to leave, but we plan to be on the road Friday by 9am. We appreciate the cleanliness and beauty of this house, as well as all the all the special touches, such as the flowers in the dining room, fresh oranges, comfortable mattresses and the overall decor, just to mention a few. Anyway, thank you so much and we hope to rent your home on our next trip back to Longboat. Loved this property. We had bad weather when we were there, but to us that didn't even matter. The house was so nice and the hosts very hospitable. We would highly recommend it. My husband still talks about the bed and how he will never sleep as well again as he did there. I guess we'll have to plan another trip!

The owners answered all our questions in advance and were so helpful. On arrival the house was spotless and there were flowers and fruit on the table to make our arrival special. I had an issue connecting to the internet and the owner came right over and fixed the problem. The house exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the restaurants suggested, and drinking wine on the deck as we looked over the water and watched the lights of the city go on was just spectacular. Thanks

We are back for a second extended stay at this lovely home. The owners had the house in perfect condition including moving some furniture to meet our requests. We loved this home and the location for our daughters wedding in May and now are expecting a fabulous holiday vacation over the New Year here on Longboat Key.

A pristine paradise awaited us as we entered this amazing property. The setting is ideal, simply breathtaking and convenient to everything in the area. The owners were accessible and helpful though you lack for nothing in this well-stocked home. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. In fact, we are booking two additional visits in the future!

This house is amazing. It has all of the amenities you want including a great pool and spa, and of course a great view. The private beach is ideal and is just down the road. A pod of dophins even visited us one morning in the channel behind the house. That was definitely awesome. The owners are great to work with. When we first saw pictures, it had a king bed and a trundle, but because we had two couples, they swapped out the trundle for a queen and we were very appreciative of that. We would highly recommend this house. I would say the only draw back is that you have to drive awhile to find a grocery store and most of the restaurants, though it wasn't that big of a deal.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful home. The owner was easy to contact and had all the plans in place for a smooth arrival. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a bowl of fruit. It was such a nice touch. The house is furnished an equipped as a vacation home, not a rental. The wireless internet, bikes, and heated pool added to the enjoyment of our stay. The views of the bay and Sarasota are breathtaking. We would definitely return to this paradise on the water.

Excellent rental property and a real good value. Truly upscale - the beds were better than most hotels. All fixtures, baths and kitchen were top notch. I would definitely stay here again.
