A-frame, log-sided cabin on 100 feet of sandy, clear recreational Horseshoe Lake. Removed from the road by paved driveway and surrounded by towering pine and oak trees with panoramic western views of lake. Two and one half hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul in the popular Brainerd Lakes area.
Lower level has kitchen, dining room, 4-season porch, 2 bedrooms (one with satellite TV) and one bathroom. Upper loft is open with full and twin beds snuggled in one corner, futon, couch, gas fireplace, satellite TV, and full bathroom with bathtub and laundry.
Either enjoy the cabin's many amenities - sandy beach, sand volleyball, horseshoes, paddle boat, etc. - or enjoy shopping and antiquing in the many local shops in Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Cross Lake or Emily.

Our family (5 adults + 1 toddler) had a wonderful stay at this property. Cabin and grounds were fantastic - great layout, well maintained/cleaned. Horseshoe Lake is beautiful and peaceful. Fishing right off dock was surprisingly good and sandy beach was perfect for our toddler. Highly recommended!
Recommended for:Families with young children.

We loved the lake, the location and the cabin. The owners obviously take pride in their cabin as it was exceptionally clean and well maintained. My kids really enjoyed fishing off of the dock as they caught plenty of small fish. The sandy beach, sandy bottom and clear water was great for swimming. We drove for 16 hours to stay at this cabin and it was well worth it.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had an awesome time at the cabin. My three boys were outside most of the days playing on the large sand beach and lake. The beach was a favorite for it's "sugar" sand, as my boys called it and the lake was great because my youngest could go in and sit and splash and my older ones could jump off the dock. It is a well supplied and roomy cabin. My eldest son even commented that "these are the most comfortable beds ever! I don't want to get out!" Everything was clean and provided for. Thank you for sharing your family cabin with us.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family of seven stayed at the cabin last week and had a wonderful time. The photos and property description were very accurate and the owner was professional and quickly responded to any questions we had. Also, our deposit was returned within a couple days of us leaving. Quiet, clean lake with good sunny and northern fishing. One of the best qualities of the cabin is the location: it is just a few minutes from Crosslake, Pequot, Breezy Point and Nisswa. Our family enjoyed a relaxing week and would recommend this property to others.

This is a very nicely maintained lake cabin which is very adaptable to hosting a group of several adults. We found the lake with its bays.coves,and eagles overhead to be ideal for kayaking. The owner is trustworthy and professional is his rental arrangements.

We truely enjoyed this cabin, it is nicely decorated inside and out and sits on a lake good for skiing and fishing. The pier is long enough to get into deeper water and has plenty of space to relax on. The owner is very organized and nice to deal with and quick to return the deposit.
