Sanderling is a gorgeous ocean to sound community located on one of the narrowest points on the northern Outer Banks. Sanderling‚ just north of Duck‚ is rich in natural beauty and surrounded by lush vegetation. Pines‚ bayberry‚ was myrtles and live oaks provide shelter for a variety of wildlife. The area offers direct access to the nature trails at the Audubon Nature Preserve‚ a dedicated bird sanctuary.
Sanderling offers an outdoor pool overlooking the Currituck Sound and two soundside docks. The Sanderling Inn Health Club has tennis courts and gym are available for a small fee‚ by the day or week.
Larger groups please ask about renting the home next door as well. Rent "Duck Fore Ever" & "The Simple Life" together at a discount rate, better than renting a monster home. Get the fun with the privacy.

This house is wonderfully located between the beach and the sound (only 1 minute-walk to either). Between watching sunrise/sunset, crabbing, fishing, swimming, surfing, jet-skiing and other things you can do nearby, we had a really good time. House is very neat and well-equiped. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
