Set on a hillside above Chocolate Hole, Meridian is a charming Caribbean cottage that provides everything that you need for a serene get-away. The house faces south and west and looks across Chocolate Hole to St. Thomas as well as down to the beach at Hart Bay. The home is painted with charming tropical colors with tile floors, native stonework and local art completing the island theme.
The fully equipped kitchen is separated from the living room by a tiled breakfast bar. New cabinetry contains all of your needs for cooking and entertaining. The kitchen has direct access to the veranda for use of the gas grill.
The wrap-around veranda offers a dining area as well as sitting areas with couches for reading, relaxing or just enjoying the view. Dinner on the veranda with St. Thomas twinkling in the distance is magical. Mahogany louvered French doors lead into the home on all sides, providing a breezy, outdoor feeling to the home. A few steps down from the veranda bring you to the large, private pool deck. Surrounded by trees and plants, the deck offers excellent privacy and patio furniture for enjoyment.
Meridian has two large, high-ceiling bedrooms, each with its own bath. The master bedroom has a four poster queen bed. The guest bedroom has twin beds that can be converted into a king sized bed. Each bedroom opens separately to the veranda.
If you prefer the beach and snorkeling, Hart Bay and Chocolate Hole beaches are within easy walking distance, and the fabulous beaches of the North Shore are only a short ride by car. Meridian is less than a mile and a half from Cruz Bay on a paved road and a half mile from the Westin Hotel. Meridian is wonderful home for a honeymoon, two couples, or a small family.

We have traveled to the Caribbean for over twenty five years and settled on St. John as the island with convenience to our mainland home and the island that maintains much of the flavor of the old Caribbean.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our property is located on a hillside with great views of the ocean. St. Thomas at sunset can be breath-taking as darkness falls and its lights come on. The swimming pool area is very private and has both shade and sun as the day progresses. Very relaxing!

I took my niece to St. John for her 30th birthday and we stayed at Meridian, the house is amazing and the views are breathtaking. Loved all the wood and stonework. Very West Indies feel. I will definitely return.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.
