I purchased this property as a weekend getaway from the hustle of the city.I could not wait for friday to head out to Weeki Wachee.
I have since moved up here and now live just five minutes away.Now I offer the place so others can enjoy the nature and beauty.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Sitting on the back porch and watching the water is so relaxing. Jumping off the dock into the fresh spring fed water revitalizes the body and soul. Watching the blue herons ,white egrets and of course the manatees. Canoeing or kayaking up the spring fed Weeki Wachee river.

I grew up in Tampa so I already had a love for water.I came up to Weeki Wachee to visit friends and rented a cottage there.After a couple weekends there I became hooked on the natural beauty of the area and the water.

Very quiet and peaceful. Canoe and Kayaks were a nice bonus. We stayed here a week and really enjoyed our time. Our toddler loved playing in the water right out front but we loved the short paddle to the clear, cold spring. Manatees even swam right in front of the dock. Great location and a super time...Thanks Bert.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

Just enjoyed 4 days with my 2 children. Had a blast. Rained the first day, but enjoyed the mermaid show. Decided to stay at house the next day and used the canoe and kayac. We had such a great time. Met a lot of the people on the canal, very friendly. Aleady decided to return in August, but my available weekend is booked up. Oh well. Will definately return. Ran into a manatee when we tried to take the canoe out, took forever for him to move for us......lol. Can't wait to return !!

MY WIFE AND I JUST SPENT THE WEEK THERE WHAT A WONDERFUL AND RELAXING VACATION WE HAD THE RIVER IS PERFECT AND COOLING ON A HOT DAY THE OWNER IS A VERY NICE MAN WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN

If you are looking for quiet, relaxation in a very casual atmosphere - this is it! The house has everything you need, the river is right out your back door and the house is close to one of the most popular beaches in the area. Restaurants, bars and shopping are also close by (most within 5-10 miles). The owner is a quick phone call away and responds to questions very quickly. We would definately consider renting here again. The fact that we could have our dogs with us was a big plus also.

In the spring and summer look out . Its time to break out the bathing suits and hit the water. The cool spring feed waters brings out swimmers , kayaks, canoes and boats.
