Nestled within a 1.3 acre forest of trees, this very private deluxe chalet is the perfect setting for your next vacation. Lake Sonnenblick sits at the bottom of the deck where you will enjoy watching a constant flow of wildlife.
Sit on the dock or the deck, or even the screened in porch and feel a part of nature in Innsbrook's Audubon Sanctuary. Take a paddleboat ride around 4-acre Lake Sonnenblick. In the summertime, enjoy the popular sand beaches and swim docks on 150-acre Lake Aspen, the Conference Center and beautiful outdoor swimming pool, as well as Innsbrook's award-winning 18-hole golf course and Hanneken's Restaurant, all just minutes from the chalet.
Two bedrooms are fully furnished with queen-size beds; a third sleeping loft is available as a sitting room or additional bedroom with queen-size sleeper sofa and privacy wall. The loft also contains a desk overlooking the beautiful lake and is outfitted with WiFi so you can keep up with all of your office & personal business. The beautiful first-floor living room has amazing views and a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for Fall and Winter getaways.
The over-sized kitchen is well-appointed and is ready for preparing meals for small or large gatherings. A gas grill on the deck is also available. Satellite TV with upgraded movie and sports channels is available at no additional charge.
At Innsbrook Resort, relax and enjoy the outdoors -- you are surrounded by towering trees and the beauty of nature. The 8000 acres of the Village of Innsbrook includes 100 lakes and is a certified Audubon Sanctuary, the first resort to be so designated in the United States. Why the Owner Chose Innsbrook
Innsbrook is a world away from the busy suburban life that we live most of the time. When you pass through the main gate at Innsbrook, you feel like you've traveled across the country to a unique destination. It's a peaceful getaway, full of family fun, yet such an incredibly easy escape. We bought this chalet in 2008 to use as a vacation rental so we can share everything we love about Innsbrook with others -- old friends and new friends alike.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet
We love to bike the many roads (& hills!) of Innsbrook on early summer mornings. The kids love to fish off the dock all year and they spend hours in the summertime in the water -- swimming, floating, sailing. (They've even been known to break through the ice in the wintertime in the kayak). The wildlife is incredible -- not a day goes by when we don't see deer, bluebirds, woodpeckers, owls. It's a huge treat to see the animals to close to us. We also love the simple life that Innsbrook offers -- the orchards nearby, tiny Harmony Church, the friendliness of all the staff, the country store for ice cream, the farmer's market for homemade bread and fresh produce. We have explored it all -- golf, tennis, the basketball courts, all the beaches, the running trails, the outdoor movies. But probably the best thing of all (for mom & dad, at least) is looking at the beautiful lake with with a glass of wine, totally relaxed.

My husband and I live in St. Louis County. We have three children and love that we can easily get to our Innsbrook house in an hour, door-to-door, for a getaway weekend or sometimes for just a night. We purchased our first property at Innsbrook in 2005 and moved in for summer fun in 2006. Now we spend every summer at Innsbrook -- we pack up the kids, the pets, the musical instruments, the bikes, and relocate (close enough, though, for daily visits from our St. Louis friends). We spend our days swimming in the lake, feeding the huge catfish that come to our dock, picking lots of berries, grilling steaks and exploring the woods. We absolutely love our time at Innsbrook and are anxious for everyone to experience how wonderful it is. No one has yet to come away less than enthusiastic!

My husband & I, as well as his sister & her husband and their son rented the Chalet for New Years Eve & could not have been any happier! We moved here from Colorado 7 years ago and spend a significant amount of money visiting several times a year! After staying at the Chalet we feel as if we have found a local Colorado that is only 60mins from our home in Godfrey, Illinois. The Chalet had a very nice Ipod Doc, that just made the living room scene the place to be! The beds were comfy & The owners are VERY good about having everything at the cabin you would ever need! The views from the deck were stunning, quiet & peaceful. We are definitely returning this winter as we want to go when it snows.... The owner was very pleasant to work with & made the process very simple! We just can't wait to return!!!!!!Thanks again.... Kate & Adam

Our family enjoyed a perfect Thanksgiving holiday at the chalet. There was fishing, hiking, dog walking, golfing, lots of games in front of the fireplace, football and of course, eating!! There was plenty of room for all 6 of us and everyone described the chalet as very "cozy". Thanks for the wonderful family memories. Renting the chalet is a definite do-over!

We rented two neighboring chalets and hosted our children and grandchildren for a fun-filled week! We swam, fished, paddle-boated and played games and read to the children. Our children LOVED it and our grandchildren LOVED it! We loved hosting this family event --- it is sure to be a treasured family memory!

My husband and I just spent two relaxing day's at this very remote chalet. I must say the chalet was furnished with everything you needed for your getaway. We truely enjoyed the all around view from the greatroom and decks. We hope to return again maybe in the fall when all the trees turn beaurtiful colors. Many thank's to Sarah for arranging our stay. Very attractive, usable chalet with such beautiful views to look into the woods or watch the full moon rise over the lake. A nice, well-equipped gathering place for having friends out for the day. Easy to cook in, lots of seating, and activities for kids. In the heat of summer, we really appreciated the air conditioning along with the quiet and green of the surroundings. Sarah is so helpful to work with.

The minute we walked in the front door we knew we were in for an amazing week. A photograph can't begin to describe this beautiful chalet and the incredible view of the lake. The chalet is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and you truly feel as if it is your own home away from home. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked (if you need it, it's there!). We enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the sunset each evening, just enjoying nature at its best. Sarah was incredible to work with. We lost power for a short period of time during our visit, and she was so easy to reach and began working on the problem immediately. We are already looking at our calendars to schedule a fall and winter visit, plus a stay again next summer. Truly, THE BEST trip ever!
