This villa has a screened porch overlooking a lagoon and is perfect for the guest who seeks a quiet and tranquil setting. The property backs up onto the 9 hole Sea Palms Golf Course and golf is available at a discount through the Sea Palms office.
Nearby is the bike trail that goes around the island. This area has beautiful oak trees with Spanish moss, bird life on the lagoon and lots to do as well. My family loves to go out to eat at the many nice restaurants nearby as well as go shopping and to the movies. The island is a place that gets into your heart and I keep my villa in good condition as I love it very much.
The living area is attractively furnished and includes a big screen TV and a beautiful oriental carpet. The lovely dining table can be expanded with leaves for a family dinner. The kitchen is small but well supplied. The 2 bedrooms each have private bath access. One bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam enhanced mattress and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. The living room has a sleeper sofa. We have new wooden flooring and carpet and have recently added a chiminea for outdoor fires. We have just built a new patio that will make using the chiminea and looking at the lagoon even more pleasant. We also offer fast access broadband internet connection at no extra charge.
Both bathrooms have just been completely renovated and are beautiful!! The master bath now has large walk-in shower, with a rain shower head and a hand held spray as well. All new tile,light fixtures and plumbing fixtures were also part of the remodel.Along with the renovation came all new towels and sheets, all cotton.
We have a number of guests who return each year and they comment about how quiet, peaceful and attractive the villa is. Sea Palms is a resort development that is just north of the Sea Island causeway and has a number of amenities. You have a choice of 3 swimming pools and one brand new hard surface tennis court at no charge. There are reasonable fees charged for the 2 golf courses, clay tennis courts and health club usage. The best beach is about a 10 minute drive to the old Coast Guard station.

I love this place because it is so renewing to me. As soon as I reach the causeway and see the marsh I begin to feel relaxed. I also got married here in the beautiful historic Lovely Lane chapel. It is a truly special place.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Palms
This has been in our family for many years and has so many special feelings. St Simons is a beautiful historic island and the oak trees and hanging moss are a sight to behold. The Wesley Oak is not far away at Christ Church and Fort Frederica is like stepping back in time. Cumberland Island, Sapelo Island and Little ST Simons are unique barrier islands that are open for a limited number of day visitors.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
I love to ride my bike and Atlanta is not really the safest place to go biking. Here are bike paths and a hard sand beach that is a blast to ride at low tide.Crabbing and fishing are relaxing and delicious.

The PERFECT Honeymoon getaway!!!!

This beautiful bungalow was absolutely a perfect destination for my Honeymoon. The condo is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. The photos do not do justice to the fabulous interior. The location gave us ideal access to all the charms of St. SImons Island, but simultaneously afforded us the privacy we wanted. We slept late in the really comfortable king-sized bed in the master suite, then drank coffee all morning on the screened in porch. The view is lovely- overlooking the lagoon, surrounded by live oaks draped in spanish moss. And I loved showering in the walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. I am quite tall, and loved that the shower heads were placed to accomodate someone like me!!! The community is peaceful, quiet and very pedestrian and cyclist friendly. I highly recommend an evening stroll on the golf cart paths. If you're looking for dining or shopping, Redfern Village is a convenient and pretty place to get it all! It was an incredible vacation and I can't wait to come back! We will definately be staying at the same villa!! Thanks for a memorable time!

My wife discovered this property last summer when we were looking for a quick weekend getaway. We came down to St. Simons with our daughter who brought a girlfriend along and there was plenty of space. The girls had their own bathroom which was a blessing. My wife and I enjoyed walking the beautiful lagoon. The property felt so private and secluded, but was plenty close to the shops and restaurants downtown. The girls rode their bicycles to town while my wife and I relaxed by the secluded pool. They also played a round of tennis on courts they said were brand new. The condo was clean and quiet. We played bocci ball in the backyard while watching the turtles, fish, and egrets in the lagoon. I can't recommend this property enough and the price is just a steal. Will definitely return. This was our second stay on St. Simons and wanted a larger condo unit. This fit the bill very nicely. The bedrooms are large with brand new baths for each. Very nice. The livingroom was nice size, a room that sometimes gets under sized, but not here. The dining area was great. It overlooks the lagoon, or pond if you will, and is really nice if it is too cold to eat on the porch. The porch is screened in and will be your room of choice on all but the coolest of days. The kitchen is small, but functional. You should be able to cook any meal required with the fully stocked kitchen. We like to eat out so it proved to be totally adequate. The location is very quiet, yet close to many conveniences. It is however, 15 to 20 minutes to the village, if that is an issue. It was not to us. On the other hand it was adjacent to the first hole of the west course of the Sea Palms golf course adding beauty and a nice place to walk before or after golfing hours. If the price is within your range this would be a great place to consider.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.
