The Center, Kirpal Meditation & Ecological Center (KMEC)is set on an orchard of ten acres surrounded by tropical forest and has an ocean view from the house. The main purpose of KMEC is to provide a place for those who seek quietude and a place to meditate.
We ourselves follow the practice of Surat Shadb Yoga - the yoga of light and sound. Sant Kirpal Singh Ji died in 1974 and was a Master of this science, and the Center honors his memory. Guests are welcome to practice their own form of meditation and prayer. For those who require yoga instruction, Yoga Oasis is just two miles from the Center.

Close to swimming, hot ponds, surfing, snorkeling, (limited equipment available) steam vents and hiking nearby. Farmers' markets as well as quality natural food stores. Restaurants and other amenities in Pohoa town 7 miles away.
