  The guest house was quite charming and perfectly appointed. The owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We found the location ideal for traveling to Hershey, Gettysburg and the Dutch Country. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer than three nights! The place was extremely clean and beds very comfortable. You will not regret your stay!

  My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at The Oasis. Every detail from the welcome basket to check out was perfect. The location is close enough to town for a nice restaurant but removed enough to escape and completely relax. The owners were a pleasure to work with and always responded quickly to emails. Highly recommend that your next escape is to The Oasis.

  At the last minute we decided to go away for a couple days. I contacted Kristy about renting the house and she went above and beyond to work with us on our arrival and departure. The house was beautiful with a very welcoming, homey feeling and was perfect for our family. We were greeted by Kristy and Caleb when we arrived and she was very helpful recommending restaurants and places to go. The house had everything we needed plus more and our boys were more than thrilled about the hot tub and animals. We made a special trip to the store to get carrots so we could feed the horse and goats!! The three cats were very friendly and always greeted us when we came or went. Kristy had a lemon poppy seed cake waiting there for us and it was scrumptous!! The house also had family games (which we took advantage of) along with family movies and books. I highly recommend this guest house and we are already planning for another visit. Many thanks to the Yoder family for our wonderful stay!! PS. The bed in the Master Bedroom was unbelievably comfortable!! I slept very soundly and did not want to get up in the morning!!

  My fiancee and I ventured out of the city for the weekend and found the perfect escape. Kristy and Jeff's guest house was exactly what we needed. First of all, it was spotless and stocked with everything you might need! She even greeted us on our first night and brought over coffee, which was delicious with the homemade bread she left for us. We were 45 minutes from Roundtop, which was perfect a few hours of snowtubing. Lastly we spent much needed downtime in the hot tub which was incredible! what a relaxing way to spend a cold winter weekend. I almost don't want to tell you how much we loved this place, because we want it all to ourselves! Thank you again Kristy and Jeff! We are already talking about when we can come back!

  What a wonderful home away from home the Oasis was for our family of four. As soon as we walked through the doors it took our breath away!! The lovely lemon poppy seed bread was a welcomed treat. We felt right at home immediately. Thank you for your attention to detail and all the lovely decorations. The game/rec room was such a bonus that our girls were not expecting. We can't wait to come back when it's warmer and enjoy all the animals and grounds. Thank you for making the process of renting so easy. I loved that there were no hidden fees that other places like to sneak in. What an amazing place to stay and an amazing family to rent from. We definitely will be back!!

  Dear Kristy and Family, Our stay was perfect. The Christmas tree was the cherry on the top. Everything was so perfect. We loved the cookies and fudge you had made for us. The hottub felt so wonderful we wish we could have stayed longer. We are already planing our second trip back. What you have there with your Oasis is a very special and wonderful thing.   It was nice to finally meet you, Kristy. We are so glad to have found such a great place for our family to stay when we are in Mount Joy! The house is so beautiful and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. Thanks also for the yummy pumpkin bread.. it was a nice surprise. We will definitely be back!

  Just wanted to thank Kristy and family for sharing their guest house. What a beautiful house from the decorations, well appointed kitchen (including the yummy bread) to the cats, chickens, goats and horse. We loved watching them while enjoying breakfast on the porch. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. This felt like home. We really loved the attention to detail and even saw ourselves in a house plan just like this when we retire some day. Hope to return again in the near future.

  Beautiful country location, close to Lancaster and Hershey. Guest house is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities of home.

$165/night MAY-OCTOBER(2 night min stay on weekends)... $900/week plus 7% PA tax
Price includes departure cleaning & use of detached rec room.
Deposit- 1/2 of the total guest house rental is required as deposit.
A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations.
If you cancel your stay 14 days prior to arrival your deposit will be refunded.
If cancel less than 14 days to arrival, deposit refunded only if able to re-rent.
