We rented this condo in February 2011, upon arrival we were met by the condo owners with margaritas in the blender. The place was unbelievable from the view to the dipping pool, no need to go to the high priced restaurants for the view, it is there 24/7. The condo has everything that you need and more, no need to bring beach towels they have very nice linens at the condo. The condo itself has no windows and is open air, had very few bugs in condo at anytime, nothing different than I have at home in Canada. Outdoor showers take some getting use to but are large and really nice. Never had to turn air conditioning on as the breezes are very nice at night, we just used the ceiling fans to move some air. You do however need the ability to walk at this condo, there are many stairs to get to the street and if you come up from the beach it is a 98 stair climb but it is not unreasonable. If you can walk down and take a taxi back that works too as the road has a very steep hill you must climb as well, all in all though it is very doable for the average person. I consider my self overweight and had no issues with either climb. The location of this condo is perfect, walk 10 minutes and cross 20 restaraunts and any type of food fare that you would possibly want. I felt very safe walking anywhere from my condo. The staff at the xiguacan condo(she waa con) were very helpful and your condo owners are close if there are any issues. I guess if i have one complaint and that is there is only 1 small deck off the master bedroom which is where we live most of the time but we had four chairs on there and had room to get around each chair but if you are with another couple as we were there could be a slight problem if the people who are in the master bedroom like to sleep in much later than the other couple. This condo is a great deal with a phenominal view, if you want complete r n r you can get it here plus if you want action, just put your shoes on and in less than 10 you are in the heart of the action. See the owners other place as well it is a wonderful boutique hotel in Troncones called Regallo Del Mar. You will not regret staying here
