Enjoy our large 3500 square foot home. Just a five minute walk to Hat Creek and incredible trout fishing. Located in Cassel, the area is teaming with wild life. Watch deer from a few feet away, listen to ospreys or just relax under the trees. Cassel is ten miles east of Burney and about an hour away from Redding. Fall River Mills country club is short drive away and offers a beautiful golf course which is not crowded, very well maintained and won't break the bank! There are numerous lakes, rivers, and water falls in the area. Burney falls is a must see and is only a short drive. The Pacific Crest Trail is also just minutes away. There are many things to do and see in the area.
The home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of them being half baths. Will sleep 10 comfortably in beds and there are also fold out couches that turn into beds. The kitchen is well stocked and the great room is just that... "great". The property has ample room for an RV or two or three. The back yard is fenced and pets will be considered. The home recently has a new well with new pipes throughout the house and the water is crystal clear and tasty. The great room has a fire place with a stocked wood cave. Ready for some hot chocolate and a nice fire?

Rates are based on ten person occupancy.
There is a fee of $10/person after that up to a maximum of twelve people.
There is a $300 reservation and cleaning deposit which is refundable

This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed at this house but with a different group this year.We all had a great time its a very cozy home for its size the great room is awesome plenty of room for every body.This house is in the perfect location to get to all the great fishing in the area from hat creek to the pit river or just a short walk down to cassel,we will be back next year.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a group of 12,8 adults and 4 children had plenty of room the great room is just that "great" our first night was a little cool so we started a fire in the woodstove and everybody just hungout in that room.The house is set on a nice dead end street so kids can ride bikes out front.5 min walk to trout fishing in the canal or about 20 min to Hat creek.We BBQ and had margeritas on saturday afternoon and then walked to the canal and caught some trout in the evening.We will all be back at least one more time this summer for the money you can't go wrong with this house.
