Private Homes, Ocean Creek house description
"FrippIt," a charming vacation house in Fripp Island, SC, welcomes you to the pleasures and treasures of the Carolina Low Country. The cottage-style house features open living areas, 4 bedrooms/4 baths, screened and open porches, and lovely views of Ocean Creek Golf Course and the canal, with a boardwalk to the dock on the waterway.
The entry at the top of an open front porch furnished with rocking chairs opens to a foyer and hall leading to the rear where the living room, dining area and kitchen are located. An adjoining screened porch with all-weather furniture overlooks the canal.
Natural light and bright colors with easy care furnishings and ceiling fans throughout the house set the stage for your vacation. The kitchen features ceramic tile countertops, wood floors, a separate icemaker, blender, and dishwasher. There is seating for twelve in the dining room, utilizing the bar with stools in addition to the table and chairs. One bedroom with twin beds and a laundry area, utility closet and full bath complete the first level.
Upstairs are three spacious bedrooms, two with king-sized beds, and one with a pair of double beds. All of the bedrooms have carpeting, ceiling fans, clock radios and telephones and adjoining bathrooms with combination bath/showers and tile floors. The house has linens for bedrooms and baths. Open porches are off each bedroom.
A platform for fishing, with a sink and power connections, and a 25' floating dock are joined to the house by an 80' boardwalk.

My husband and I along with three children two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren vacationed at "Frippit" Easter of 2003 and loved every minute of it. We had plenty of room and the location is wonderful. The house is lovely.
