We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this super clean, well-maintained house that is fully stocked with anything you might need. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we enjoyed the screened lanai with its beautiful view across the nicely landscaped yard to a green space on the other side of the canal. The pool was great with the perfect amount of sun. The master suite is very spacious, with a large updated bathroom. The owners were fantastic to deal with, and we would highly recommend this house.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

A wonderful vacation month for us. This house exceeds its discription. It was well maintained and spotless. The large heated pool and oversized lanai were truly special . We were in the pool every day! I want to thank the owners, Gay and Rick, for being so easy to work with and very helpful. We have vacationed in Florida many times and you have been the nicest people to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We have been travelling and staying at many spots down south for many years, but this spot without question was the absolute best. House was spotless, up todate, and well maintained. A treat dealing with the owners. We hope to get back there some day, in the future. Would highly recommend it. Once again we have had a great time in this very comfortable and well maintained home. This is our third stay and if it were not too a very high standard we would not keep coming back! The dock, with gulf access, is a real winner and the pool and lanai allow entertaining and relaxation in superb surroundings, with lots of room. Highly recommended. The owners are very approachable and could not be more caring and helpful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house is everything that the photos and the description shows. The Nature Coast is wonderful and we loved watching all of the wildlife. From the dock we were able to watch manatees, blue herons, white egrets, otters, sting rays and dolphins. The pool was refreshing and we spent alot of time on the lanai. The owners were helpful and very easy to work with. Thanks Rick and Gay for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this home. We visit Homosassa at least once per year and this by far has been our favorite. The property is very well maintained, is in the perfect location and has every amenity you may need in order to enjoy your stay. It is so convenient to dock your boat in the backyard and not worry about fighting the summertime ramp traffic. We can't say "Thank You" enough! If schedules allow, we'll be back next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We arrived after a very long and arduous trip 8, (yes eight), days, (Thank you Iceland and your volcano!), straight into your relaxing, peaceful and immaculately kept home. Many thanks for your understanding and help, with reference to our travel problems and the welcome pack of food which was even more welcome than you can know at 2am. We could not have wished for anything better for our shortened holiday. The pool area was sublime and private and the dock was perfect, having our boat just feet from the door was a real bonus. We have stayed in a lot of nice homes in the Homosassa area but yours is certainly one of the very best. We hope to get back to stay with you again in October, God willing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great week. The house is everything it states and more. The owners are great to work with and the house was spotless and well equipped. The view from the back is private and beautiful. The pool is so refreshing after a hot day on the water. The dock and cleaning station is so convenient to use and a quick ride to the gulf. The split bedroom arrangement makes for privacy and the master suite is wonderful. We plan to make this a yearly visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Welcome to our Homosassa River Vacation Home VRBO site. We are Rick and Gay Mullins from Beavercreek, Ohio. We visited relatives in Homosassa and fell in love with the Nature Coast and the Manatees so we decided we would retire here. We purchase our retirement home on the water in Riverhaven Village. We had it completely remodeled in 2008. Since we do plan to retire here we continually upgrade and maintain the home so that it will be as nice when we retire as it is now.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
When we come to Homosassa we come to relax. Our favorite things to do are swimming in the pool, taking a boat to the Homosassa Springs to watch the Manatees, and going out to the gulf to go scalloping. Just sitting on our dock watching for Manatees is very relaxing and enjoyable.
Having our meals on the screened-in Lanai while watching the exotic birds fly over and land in our back yard is always a delight,
