This fantastic home is surrounded by huge redwood trees just a short walk to the beach and the quaint little town of Guerneville. This is the perfect country home for your vacation.

There are over fifty wineries located within minutes of the Cabin.
Spend a relaxing day swimming or boating on the Russian River.Kayak and canoe rentals are available locally. The Russian River is also home to some of the finest Steelhead fishing in the world. Visit the magical groves of ancient redwoods at the beautifully maintained Armstrong Woods National Park.
Visit some of Northern California's most picturesque coastal towns, Bodega Bay (setting for Alfred Hitchcock's famous movie "The Birds"), tour Point Reyes National Seashore, where some of California's finest organic cheeses are produced, or have dinner overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Jenner.
A 10 minute drive from the Cabin is the beautiful Northwood Golf Course - a par 36, 9 hole, Alister MacKenzie/Robert Hunter designed public golf course, situated on 70 wooded acres.

Only 90 minutes from San Francisco, two hours from Sacramento. Explore the Sonoma wine country, swim or kayak in the Russian River, hike the trails at Armstrong Woods Redwood State Park, Close to the Korbel winery, Bodega Bay and the scenic coastline is about 30 minutes drive.

Three bedrooms, Sleeps 6 comfortably. The master has a queen bed, the second bedroom also has a queen bed and your kids will love the two built in Bunk beds in the kids bedroom.

  • My wife and I visited your cabin along with Bob Sykes and Christine. It was a wonderful facility. It means a lot not to have to go out and buy salt and mustard and all the little things that can't be brought from home. It is the most complete rental I've ever used. The redwoods are humbling. The trips to the valley to taste the fine wines of Sonoma were special. The roads to SanFrancisco were exciting as was the city. If time permitted, we all would return. Christine would like to move to Guernesville someday.

  • This cabin was the perfect get away. Tucked up into some redwood trees, it is a bit of a hike (0.9 miles) to the closest restaurant - ideal for a getaway! Close to both Sonoma and Napa wineries. We easily slept 5 people and could have put another one or two.

  • Stayed for a week in August, Fabulous, Great, Fantastic, what other words can I think of?? Our family had 6, myself, my husband, our two boys, ages 4 & 7 And my husbands parents, The cabin was perfect for us. We BBQ’ed most nights and had dinner on the deck. Visited all the local attractions, Here is our top 5 1) Armstrong Woods 2) Johnson’s Beach 3) Bodega Bay 4) Korbel Winery 5) Mosaic Restaurant (Ask for a table in the Garden)

  • I stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends. We loved it - quiet and cozy, and a great location. Just a few minutes from a 24 hour Safeway and the Russian River. Would definitely stay here again the next time we want a vacation in Guerneville. The owner was also great to work with. Thank you!

  • We loved..loved..loved staying here. We had all the amenities of home and all the amenties that the location provided. So close to everything...eateries, stores, Safeway, Armstrong Woods, and of course, the River. We really enjoyed hangin out on the deck, barbequing most nights and just taking in the scenery. The cabin was also equipped with EVERYTHING you could need. We were so happy that we decided on a cabin this year instead of camping! We plan on coming back! Thanks Paul!

  • The cabin is clean and cozy, with a personal touch. The kitchen has everything. We cooked a nice BBQ using the gas grill on the deck. There are plenty of beach chairs in the laundry room that we took advantage of, too. Our Russian River vacation was great - only too short. Tip: There are 2 bathrooms. If you stay in the master bedroom, don't hesitate to tell your cabin mates to use the smaller but more insulated bathroom at night. Better yet, just lock the main bathroom for your own use before you go to bed!

  • We absolutely loved our one week stay in this coszy cottage and only wish we could have stayed longer. Everything you could possibly need is provided. It is ideally located: close to shops, cafes and attractions (wineries, river beach etc) yet at the same time secluded enough amidst giant redwoods to provide for a very relaxing holiday.

  • My husband and I spent his (??)birthday celebration at the cabin and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was well equipped with everything! We brought our laptop and was surprised to get free WiFi access (LOL). We visited the Korbel Brut Winery and walked the hiking trails at Armstrong Redwood Park (both were less than three miles from the cabin). We also went to the Sonoma Coast (about 25 minute drive)and had lunch at the River's End Restaurant (beautiful view and great food). After lunch, we went to the Sonoma Rock Coast and walked along the ocean.

  • The cabin (what happened to the grass in the picture?) is lovely and comfortable. We felt fortunate to be able to walk in Armstrong Woods daily before the place shuts down (for a savingss of 1/10 of a penny cost to the state out of all money outlays). Very comfortable beds and the sky lights helped so much to dispel any redwood "gloom" on a cloudy day.The river is one of our favorite places to spend time and we felt fortunate to be able to stay here.     Hi Don & Bette, I am glad you had a great time. Regarding the grass in the photos, when I first bought the house, I bought new grass, it will not grow in the shade because of all the giant redwood trees in the garden. Thanks Paul

  • Had a wonderful vacation, the cabin is really nice and comfortable, the layout is great and it was perfect my family and 2 grand pedants. We had great weather, spent long days at Johnson’s Beach, hiked Armstrong woods and BBQed most nights. Johnson’s Beach is a blast from the past, the prices are amazing, Free Parking, Burgers $2, Beers $2.50 (20 Oz), and Ice cream is only a Dollar, They also rent umbrellas, Kayaks, inner tubes etc. We had dinner in Main Street station on the Sat night, food was great. Guerneville is really a great little town with lots of cute little stores and the Flea market in the Safe parking lot is worth a visit. We would totally recommend the cabin, and have sent the link to all our friends.
