This large, elegant designer apartment, tucked in the very heart of Rome, is the cherished abode prepared by a mixed Italian-American couple of art historians and architects. It is a wonderful large apartment, of variable size: in fact the main body comprises two double bedrooms, a large sitting room, a separate spacious dining room (including a large sofa bed), two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, an ample foyer and corridor. This apartment is endowed with a large, most charming patio, richly adorned with plants, some of which are spectacular. You find also two additional balconies, each with own charm.
For larger parties, an adjoining apartment (next door), belonging to the same owners, will add one more double bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting area, sleeping a total of 7 persons.
This large apartment is located in Via Capellari, in the Campo de' Fiori / Piazza Navona area. It is an intriguing, characteristic-old Rome street, with little arches, craftsmen, decorators, and small art shops.
The apartments are situated at the second European floor off the street level (it would be the third floor in the USA). It is 180 Square Meters (approximately 190 Square Feet), plus the adjoining apartment of 30 Square Meters or 33 Square Feet. The units are utmost *silent*, normally bright, and they are endowed with an elevator.
Tastefully furnished with antiques but also with modern furniture, fittings and original paintings (both of old masters and of surrealist painters), the apartments are also remarkably equipped.
The equipment includes:
Air conditioning in every room with internal blowers and external engines.
*Two* wide screen (36' and 32' inches)Sony TV sets (one 36' in the sitting room with satellite dish to watch all intl. and English speaking channels, the other 32' LCD in the master bedroom, also with some English channels).

WI-FI fast internet connection
Complimentary cell phone
Washing machine /iron and iron board

This was our first VRBO in Rome, and we were a little anxious. The family's agent who replied to our queries was though very informative and reassuring. We were pleased with the property, and it had everything we expected. They also organized our limo service, so we arrived without a glitch. Upon arrival we were met by the owner's daughters and an assistant, who were very helpful. The unit is spacious, and the AC worked well (it was scorching hot in August!). We loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen and dining in the patio (the Campo veg market is just round the corner). We walked to all the sights, and we were able to visit all Rome again. This was our third Rome visit, and surely the best. The apartment is a quiet abode in old Rome's most picturesque district.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

About: I am an art historian, my late husband was an architect. We love this home, which is still our favourite despite we live now elsewhere. We are helped by our right-hand man, a doctor who will reply to your questions and assist you, very dedicated and extremely proficient.
Why Navona:
The apartment is elegant and very spacious. It was designed by my husband, and architect, together with many Italian architects (friends of his). In addition, we took utmost care to endow the apartment with all mod cons (please read the specific information). The apartment has a large, beautiful terrace with flowers and plants (you can pick your own lemons). Moreover there are two sunny balconies. Last but not least, the sitting room is very large, like you rarely find in all Rome's centre, and the dining room is separate and large. You will never find in the Navona Campo de' Fiori an apartment so large, all on one level (no internal steps), silent, bright and very well equipped.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Terrace with flower and plants, two balconies, double sized sitting room, separate ample dining room, fireplace, SPACE, silence, perfect equipment, perfect central location.
