Our cabin is 2200 sq ft., located 14 miles north of Woodland Park in Westcreek, across the road from pike national forest. Westcreek is an old mining town with loads of history. Creekside cabin is nestled among 50 year old giant pines and cottonwoods, on 40 beautiful acres, with groupings of rock formations. As one of our recent guests stated, "It is soothing to soul," and it is....
The sounds of Westcreek moving past the front of the cabin will simply wash away all the stresses that can accumulate with everyday life. There is quiet solitude with sounds of nature all around, an abundance of wildlife...and hummingbirds galore. A red tail hawk nests on one of our hills, you might spot our resident deer coming to drink from the creek, red fox, or blue heron on the water.
Down by the creek enjoy a game of horseshoes, or a game of bolo golf aka ladder golf, some call it hillbilly golf. (we can explain that one), it is fun though.
The cabin is newly renovated, with a large open floor plan. We do however try to limit our guests to 9 for the comfort of all. (will negotiate in certain situations.) The master bedroom is large with private bath, TV, a wood fireplace in the center of the room, and a reading area looking out to the pine covered hillside.
There is nothing more relaxing at the end of your day than a soak in the private hot tub, looking out to the stars and sipping a glass of our complimentary Colorado wine. If you're lucky it will be a full moon and you can use nature to light the room with a soft romantic glow.
And if you're up for a massage, we have 1 that will come out by appointment in advance....or 2 if you'd like to do a couples massage, very romantic.
Lots of games and puzzles.
We are close enough to everything, yet far enough to be away from it all....Pay us a visit, you won't regret it, in fact once you're here you'll never want to leave!!

- Bunk Bed: We have a bunk bed with a single mattress on top, and (double on the bottom , with inner spring futon mattress, very comfortable.)
- Convertible Bed: We have a queen size sofa bed, with memory foam for extra comfort....and it is very comfortable.
- Crib: We will provide a porta-crib,for little ones.

- Cable/Satellite TV: We have a 32" high definition television, with all the movie channels and a dvd & collection of movies as well....
- TV (No Cable/Satellite): There is a 20"-15" flat screen in the master bedroom, with a separate cable box for individual viewing......

- Video Library: We dvd's for all tastes, action, romantic comedy, children.
- Private Hot Tub: We have a private 8 person hot tub located in a seperate room separate of the house, looking into the mountain, and night stars.....Small fridge for cold drinks....

- Full Kitchen: We have a kitchen fully equipped with anything you might expect to find at home, including coffee, spices, etc...Toaster, blender, and coffee maker.....
- Cooking Utensils Provided: There are pots and pans, casserole dishes, silverware, all sorts of utensils, needed for cooking.......Dishes, cups, glasses etc....
- Refrigerator: Full size Refrigerator, with freezer...

- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Large gas grill with warming rack and side burner. Propane is supplied directly from main tank so you never have to worry about running out.

- Westcreek runs through our property and past the front of the cabin, there are rock formations, a tree swing that swings out over the hillside. We offer horse accommodations if you'd like to bring your horses for quiet rides, and plenty of open pasture. We also have a massage therapist that will come out by appointment only, must be made well in advance, or for a romantic couples massage there would be another therapist join her......

- Pet Friendly: Well behaved pets are more than welcome, it's an awsome place for dogs,we just ask you clean up after them....
- Kid Friendly: Our cabin is kids paradise, backed up against a hill they can hike around, the creek, also the kids usually like to feed the horses and cows.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: You must be at least 21 to rent the cabin....
- Smoking Allowed: Smoking is allowed in designated areas only, and not inside at all.........

Tubing, kayaking and gold medal fishing in the Platte river (10 minutes north), (15 min. south) to championship mtn. Golf course, (20 minutes to woodland park), with dinosaur resource center & museum, as well as family owned shops and restaurants, boating, waterskiing etc, at pueblo resevoir- (1 hour and 15 minutes), Breckinridge ski & snowboarding resort (1 hour,45 minutes), cripple creek casinos and molly kathryn mine (1 hour, 15 minutes) santa's workshop amusement park, cave of the winds, pikes peak and cog railway (all 25 minutes), air force academy, Cheyenne mtn zoo, garden of the gods, museums and other attractions, in Colorado Springs (45 minutes) also Manitou springs unique shops and local artists. awesome atv trails within minutes of cabin. POSITIVE-GUESTBOOK COMMENT "THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL VACATION" We had such a wonderful Spring Break. We hiked everyday. We drove to the Royal Gorge and took in the amazing views. We also went to Fraser for all day tubing (it was a blast!) Our last day we spent at Cave of the Winds. What an amazing gift God gave us all to enjoy. The stars at night here are amazing. For the first time I think ever the kids went a week without TV or video games lol. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation.
