"Best Kept Secret in Texas", Is often said of Lake Buchanan, or Big Buck. Over 70 miles of scenic shoreline, offer gorgeous granite outcroppings, limestone falls, cliffs that home Eagles, thru the winter, and sandy beaches. Almost all types of water recreation is available, due to the wide open expanse of Lake Buchanan.
The Ward Vacation Home , known for it's deep water, 30+ ft., is in a upscale neighborhood, on the east side, within 15 minutes from the town of Burnet. It has recently had remodeling and is a lovely restful, comfortable enviroment with all furnishings included. Get away for a memorable vacation and you will want to book your return visit before you leave.
Lake Buchanan is currently down by about 15 ft. There is still water at the shoreline, however due to the lake level,the ramp to the dock is at a vertical incline and not usable. You can access the dock by going down the rocks at the shoreline, however it is challenging. Lake use is still available if you access it by the home owner private boat launch and park just a short distance away.

- Lakefront: The lake is down by about 15'. We still have water at our shoreline, however because the ramp is not available anymore, due to the steep incline, you have to go down the rocks which is somewhat challenging.
