This beautifully restored antebellum home was originally located in downtown Athens where the Armstrong and Dobbs Building Supply Company currently exists. It has been moved to "The Hill" on Crescent Lane, a historic site located north of Athens. "The Hill" has been used in film productions and also is the site of several other historic homes that were built there or have been moved there and restored.
The home has been completely remodeled with a modern kitchen and plumbing, yet still retains it's wonderful Southern charm and character. The house is just minutes from downtown Athens and UGA and is perfect for a stay for sporting events or a lovely weekend trip; there are two other houses on the property available for short term rentals or stays, making "The Hill" an ideal site for family reunions or small weddings. There is a two night minimum stay.
