Come experience Emerald Isle in this terrific oceanfront duplex. Wake up to the sun rising over the ocean. This is beachfront living at its best. The open Living Room and Master Bedroom face the water. Walk outside and enjoy your morning coffee and watch dolphins swim by on one of the new rail height deck chairs. Fully renovated in 2006, the Kitchen has all the comforts of home. There are also ceiling fans through out. New in 2009 is a 42" LCD flat panel television in the Living Room as well as new Living Room furniture. The Master has a new DVD player and flat panel television and the second bedroom has a new DVD/VCR. The Kitchen and Living Room space is newly painted for the 2010 season. New in 2010 is laminate flooring throughout as well as a new washer/dryer unit. For 2011, there is a new dishwasher and new full size beds in the second bedroom.
There is a dividing wall between the East and West sides so both sets of guests have privacy. A gate is also in place so that your pet is secure on the deck. For those who need a little shade, the deck has a roof over half of it so you can get some protection from the sun.
The Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bath, the second bedroom has two full beds and the third bedroom has a set of bunks. This bedroom has been newly painted for the 2010 season. There is free unlimited long distance within the US, 4 color cable TV's's, 2 DVD's, and high speed internet access as well as a limted DVD video library. We hope you come to relax but if you must work, there is wireless access for your laptop. A local management company is available to help with inquiries during your stay on the Island.
Your well behaved dog is also welcome (up to two 30 lb dogs) with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per dog.
If you want a break from the beach, there are plenty of activities; bike, kayak, and boat rentals are available. There are also boat tours, pier and surf fishing, mini and regular golf, shopping, great family restaurants, and the NC Aquarium is nearby.
Your family will truly cherish the memories of your visit to the beautiful "Crystal Coast" of North Carolina.
"Just For The Halibut - East" rents from Saturday to Saturday, there is NO SMOKING, and you must be 25 or older to rent. Rentals are by the week.

We fell in love with Emerald Isle the first time we came to visit. Our first morning we were delighted to see the dolphins swim by and knew this was the place for us. The people are friendly, easy going, and always greet you with a smile. We find it the perfect place to relax and come together as a family.

We absolutely enjoyed our week at your beach home. It was wonderfully decorated. I enjoyed listening to the ocean every night in the master bedroom. Each morning began with coffee on the deck. We had lots of sight seeing planned but other than visiting Shark Day at the Pine Knolls Shore Acquarium and Big Oak for delicious Shrimp Burgers we stayed at the beach and this wonderful vacation home - we couldn't drag ourselves away. Our two small dogs simply loved the ocean and all the little ones playing in the sand. They actually sulked when we got home. The fireworks were fun and our neighbors were amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you for thinking of everything! Emerald Isle has become our new beach destination.

Just for the Halibut East is the ONLY place I want to stay when I go to Emerald Isle. I feel so at home there. Both times I have rented the Halibut it was spic and span on arrival. They have new furniture and TV in the den. I enjoyed being right on the ocean and not having to lug my shell bucket and chair so far to sit on the beach. In the afternoon I would sit out on the deck and read my book. We particularly loved our morning coffee on the deck. I went to Moorehead 2 nights for dinner at Sammy's Ice House. His seafood is excellent and always freshly caught. Sammy actually cleans the fish himself!!! I ate at The Shepherd's Point Restaurant one night and it was delicious as well. I recommend both of these restaurants. Thank you so much for providing me such a nice place to stay. I will be back!!!!!

We stayed at Just for the Halibut East in April 2011 and absolutely loved it!!! The weather was perfect and the house had everything you could possibly need. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves right outside the window of the Master Bedroom. If you want to spend a nice, relaxing week right on the beach, we definitely recommend this home! It is clean and well-maintained. There are grocery stores and restaurants (we recommend Jordan's Seafood!) within 5-10 minutes and Morehead City is only about 15 minutes away if you are looking for some night life. Perfect for any family or small group...

The unit was perfect for a week at the beach. Property was clean and well maintained. All furnishings were new and clean, very comfortable. Enjoyed listing to the surf while drifting off to sleep. You could not get any closer to the beach than this. We will be renting the unit again in the fall for sure!!!
