One of the best VRBO experiences to date. (I have been a VRBO renter, utilizing properties in CO, CA, and HI for three years now.) Owner, Patrick, is very thorough and accommodating. He gave us a tour of the three-bedroom property upon our arrival. We had no problems. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and every kitchen tool we needed to prepare breakfast and a couple of dinners for family members. The property is very clean, spacious, quiet, and is just as described in VRBO posting. We enjoyed the sounds of bird chirping and the views of the patio, spacious common lawn area, and pool each morning. Anaheim Hills is a very lovely and walkable community.
Owner response:Thank you Susan. It was a pleasure to have you stay in our house, and we certainly hope for the chance to welcome you again. Patrick & Irene

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable condo. The owner had anything you could ever need. Lot's of extra pillows, blankets, towels and bedding. It was very comfortable, and the owner was very nice to meet us at the property and show us how everything worked. The fridge had plenty of drinks, which was very nice after a long drive. We look forward to spending our next vacation here.

Loved the property! Lots of amenities, well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, all appliances in good working order, great entertainment center and well decorated. Not only is the neighborhood conveniently located in a lovely area but the home backs up to a large green belt that leads to the pool area. We highly recommend this property and would definitely return. Patrick, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. Our party consisted of grandparents, parents and children.
Owner response:Thank you Jeannie. It was a pleasure to have you and the family in the house, and we look forward to your next visit. Patrick

We recently stayed in this beautiful townhouse because our 14 year old daughter was competing in Nationals for ice hockey. Very comfortable and laid back. Very quiet and conveniently located. Patrick, the homeowner was there to meet us upon our arrival and departure. There was water and pop for us. He even supplied laundry soap. The pool is right out the back door. We all slept great in the beds. The king mattress is to die for. All the amenities you will need are there for you. If you are considering visiting California, you should consider staying at Patrick's place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We told Patrick that if we come back to California we will be calling him and booking our next visit to stay at his place. This townhouse is a thousand times better than staying in a cramped hotel room. For those who want a reliable homeowner and a pleasant place to stay, call Patrick. Top notch man and very pleasant. Thank you Patrick for your hospitality. This will be a vacation we will never forget. The Fortune Family
Owner response:Tank you so much for your kind words. It will be a great pleasure to see you again. Our best wishes for the next competitions. Patrick & Irene

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the townhouse. Patrick and Irene were very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. We are a family of 4 and everyone had their own space after a long day of sightseeing. It is a wonderful property that is very quiet and clean. The pool was very well maintained and is fenced off and only available to residence. Everything was great. Thank you again.

Being our first time in California we were delighted to have found this wonderful accomodation. From the moment of our first enquiry the owners were a tremendous help. Purchasing was easy and straight forward. Patrick helped out in anyway he could to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible, from suggesting places to see to updating us on the weather situation before our arrival. He even did our shopping for us so that when we arrived we could relax with a nice english brew after our long flight. Only a phone call away Patrick was helpful, especially after meeting us on our arrival and explaining everything about the house. The house was perfect and in a really good position with ease to get around (apart from the dreaded I5, but that was hardly Patrick's fault). Everything about the house was great and it really made our vacation thoroughly enjoyable. If we do go back to Los Angeles we will be certainly be hoping that this property is available. Thank you Patrick and Irene for everything.

We remained 3 weeks in this pretty and luxurious Townhouse of Anaheim hills. Having one such residence like this to visit LOS ANGELES is really great. This is great because when you come back from : a Angel’s Bass Ball play, Down town, Hollywood boulevard… you still find this fabulous and calm place of Anaheim Hills. The situation of the house is adapted because, first of all the House is close to Disneyland but we particularly appreciated to have only 20 minutes to go to Newport Beach and Long Beach. We are, also, on the road of LAS VEGAS and the canyons. To the South we are on the road of San Diego, which has allowed us to visit Sea World on one day. The House is in a case of greenery. Golf nearby, did so much for that but it is not the only reason, the residence is very green and restful. We found that we needed nearby, even tennis to some family parties. Our 14-year-old girls enjoyed shopping and the beautiful swimming-pool often “for us”. The House is ideal for a family like us with 4 children: 3 rooms including a very spacious parental suite. We ate outside, all our lunch because it’s not too hot. Inside is superb and we have loved the decoration. Finally, owners are people really charming and, really, they are always ready to give you some help. We will return to Anaheim Hills.

That house was the perfect one to discover the L.A. area. Excellent service before arrival, Patrick even went shopping for us, and most friendly greeting (the directions given to reach the house were great). Very quiet, good beds and close to everything you may wish.

My family and I stayed in this wonderfull townhouse the second week of June and it was a great place to call "home" for the week. We have rented homes in Tennessee, Virginia, Florida (3) and Kentucky. This property had MANY amenities that none of the other rentals had. The (2) car garage, washer & dryer, outside grill, close proximity to the pool, furnished dish washer detergent, laundry detergent and dryer sheets are some but not all of what is included that we did not see elswhere. The property was clean, neat, well organized and inviting. Oh yes ... there were books, dvd movies and magazines also. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. Patrick met us at the door and showed us around and explained how everything worked and just in case you couldn't remember it all ... the instructions were right there with whatever you were using. Patrick was VERY gracious and genuinely interested in our comfort. There were bottles of water on every night stand! There was water and soda in the refrigerator and even some food staples to get us started. He called us in the middle of the week to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered to take out the trash!! Above all Patrick respected our privacy. I cannot think of a better place to stay while in Southern California. THANKS PATRICK!!!

We have had a perfect holiday in LA end of May/early June 09 thanks in no small measure to the location, facilities and amenities of the townhouse and the superb attention to detail from Pat and Irene. We travelled from UK with our two boys aged 9 and 4 and the usual nightmare is arriving tired after a long journey and having to go back out in search of groceries...not this time ! Pat kindly arranged for us to pre-order the essentials and they were waiting in the fridge when we arrived ! A fantastic start and that level of attention to detail continued throughout the holiday. Pat was available if needed by phone or email (if needed) but was unobtrusive at all times. His advice on where to go/what to do was great too. We really felt at home in the townhouse as soon as we arrived and were greeted and shown around. The kids settled straight away and even referred to the bedroom as "their room" to ours and Pat's amusement! The grass area at the rear is great for them to play on and the pool was superb too, very clean, private and empty on almost every occasion we visited it. The location of the house is excellent for getting around the LA/Orange County area, less than 5 mins to the 91 and from there its 25 mins to Newport Beach and PCH (to go onto places like Laguna Beach, South Coast Plaza/Fashion Island etc) or its 50 mins to Hollywood/Universal etc. Oh and Mickey Mouse lives about 20 mins away ! All in all a fantastic holiday and we will defintely be visiting Pat and Irene and the wonderful townhouse again soon.
Owner response:Thanks Richard for your kind words. We are looking forward to your next visit. Pat & Irene

We took our grandchildren ages 7 & 9 to California to enjoy all the attractions there. They were so excited about having their own bedrooms (which proved to be very much a refuge for the older one) at the house and having a swimming pool right out the back door. From the first day thru the 6th the home proved to be everything we had hoped it would and we loved the scenic drives we took on the way to Disneyland, Newport Beach and Sea World. It was so nice to escape the hustle bustle of the Disneyland area and come home to our quiet little refuge. Irene and Patrick are wonderful people who really care about providing a warm and comfortable home away from home and make the whole experience easy and relaxing. We would definately return another day and perhaps stay two weeks next time. Lanny & Donna

It was one week that I stayed in this lovely house with my dad and my boyfriend. It was a great time indeed. Everything was well prepared before we arrived. Patrick and his wife (the owner) were so kind and really helpful. The house is located in the nice and peaceful area. If you like greeny, you would love this house. Thank you Pat!!! Your house did fulfill our vacation (and of course with a reasonable price). ^__^

I stayed for a week. Did not find any problem. All the things were there as mentioned in website. Owner was very nice and helpful. Actually he helped us to get an idea about the city even before we arrived. We got information about local attraction, the restaurants that we were intrested in, As we mentioned that we have small children he was willing to get groceries for us so that it would be helpful. when my Laptop broke down he given his spare one so that I might not miss my day to day routine. Thanks you Patrick & Irene. Wish you good luck. Rajesh

We stayed in this townhome at the end of March/09 with our five young children. The home was spacious, clean, and set-up well for family use. Patrick was very helpful, and even provided a nice bottle of wine (and some juice for the kids) upon our arrival. The patio and grassy area were great bonuses for our family. And having a washer and dryer was so invaluable! The only downside - we booked this condo, in part, because of the pool. We did not discover until after our payment that the pool is only heated from May-Sept. It was VERY cold! The condo was a good proximity to Disneyland, LA, and San Diego for a family wanting to take in all the fun. It was also in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We are a Dutch family and we stayed in the house from the end of februari till half march 2009. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The interior of the house is very attractive and the house is very clean and complete. From of the first day we immediately felt at home. The owner of the house was very friendly and helpfull. Once in the week he called us if everything was still allright and if we may need something in the house. He respected our privacy very much. During our 20 days stay in southern California, we have no single day been bored. We've been to the beach City's; Laguna Beach and Santa Monica are certainly recommended. Further we've been to San Diego, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree Park, Universal Studios, Big Bear City, Yddilwild, and more. Southern California has a very varied landscape: beach and sea, desert, mountains and snow. You can all find it here. Within 30 minutes driving from the house you can find beautiful shoppingmalls as South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island. Well, as you can read we had great fun on our vacation in South-California and I can recommend the house to everyone. California Dreaming...

We stayed at this condo in Anaheim Hills in January 2009. I brought my daughter and three of her friends for the weekend to go to Disneyland on her birthday. The condo was very clean and nicely appointed. The area is very residential, quiet and safe. The owners even provided a small amount of food and bottled water that we were able to use at no charge. Patrick, the owner, was very pleasant and accommodating. Even though we arrived late at night, he and his wife were waiting there to welcome us in and show us the condo. At the completion of our stay after we returned home, Patrick called me and said he found a cell phone charger that we had left behind. He mailed the charger back to me at no charge. Anaheim Hills is a 20 minute drive from Disneyland, but it really did not seem that far. The only negative was that the condo was a little hard to find driving at night. Even with a GPS we went down a few dead end streets in the condominium complex. If I would have listened closer to Patrick's directions it probably would have been easier than trying to rely on a GPS. There are quite a few choices for condos in the Anaheim area, but this one worked well for us.

We are a Frano/American family that stayed in this condo over the holiday season. To say the least, it was a great experience. Pat & Irene really were so helpful and kind, having decorated the house for the holidays and even placing a christmas tree for the children. They also did a bit of shopping for us since we arrived in Los Angeles late, the children were then able to have a nice breakfast in the morning. There was more than enough space for our family, as well as very clean and comfortable, with all supplies needed to enjoy our holidays. It is a very safe and friendly neighborhood. Our children were very happy since there are quite a few other children in the area, so they were quick to make friends. It is very lovely area of North Orange county, peaceful and quiet. All shopping, dining and theatre are close by. On a rating from 1-10, we would give it an 8+. One note for any Europeans, Southern California is a beautiful place to discover, however be prepared to do a lot of driving on the freeways...good planning is recommended to ensure a worthwhile trip! Please do not hesitate to contact us for further comments and or reference. Francois & Tiffany (Antibes, France)

We stayed at this rental unit in October, 2008, during a business meeting/family vacation. It is an understatement to say that we were pleased with the home! It was very clean and organized. We felt that it was a nice touch to have Irene meet us at the house when we arrived and do a walk through with us. She made us feel as if we were staying with friends. We stayed busy all week, as the home is conveniently located near shopping, amusement parks, and short drives to the beaches. Still, it was always nice to come "home" after our busy day. If you aren't sure what you want to do while staying, Pat & Irene have put together a book with suggestions for activities, eating places, shopping, etc. There are amenities with this home that you don't get at many other rental properties. A couple of our favorites were the attached garage and the washer & dryer. Our daughters loved the pool. It was a short walk from the patio to the pool, which is large and well maintained. We are looking forward to renting this unit again!

My wife and I with our three daughters stayed here recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. We made the right choice for a good location to visit LA, Disney, San Diego and some of the beaches - it is very convenient for a variety of shops nearby (my 4 shopping consultants were suitably impressed) and also there is a great variety of places to eat locally too. We miss being able to drop into Vons the local supermarket, which stocked Halloween goodies when we were there. Just over the road from Vons is the post office, so we were able to send lots of postcards telling everyone what a great time we were having. The property itself was very clean, well organised and equipped and is located in a quiet neighbourhood. There was plenty of space for all of us inside and there is a decent sized patio area which leads on to the nearby pool. We had a fairly busy schedule so we only used the pool once but it is quite large and well maintained. During our stay we rented a minivan and parked in an adjoining garage every night. We would definitely recommend this property to other families who wish to visit LA since we had a stress free stay. It is a good base to explore LA. Anaheim Hills is a prosperous suburb with a good range of local amenities and doesn't seem to suffer from any traffic problems like some parts of LA. The owners have clearly made a considerable effort in ensuring visitors are well looked after. They were friendly and very helpful. I wish we could spend all our future holidays in a property that is looked after as well as this one! One final point - don't forget your laptop - we did! There is a broadband connection available.
