We rent out the house for weddings birthdays anniversaries or any family vacation. This is a beautiful Victorian style house, six bedrooms, five with full baths, one shared. Beautiful views of Hunter Mountain and the Schoharie Creek. House was completely updated 2006. Huge kitchen with washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, and fridge.
Two nice size TV rooms with TV and stereo. Large deck off the back with barbeque grill. Florida room in front half mile to Hunter Mountain resort six miles to Windham. Walk to village. We have volley ball badminton huge picnic area.
Hunter Mountain is the top destination of all skiers and great for summer winter spring and fall. So much to do up here. In the spring come fly fishing and hiking; summer brings white water rafting, horse back riding, golf and all summer activities. Fall is great for hiking and hunting and winter is for skiing and snow boarding.
We are a few miles to north and south lake, which is great for camping half mile to Hunter Mountain and six miles to ski Windham. There is shopping and antiquing.
We have a great deck off the back of the house, also a half acre lot perfect for parties or volleyball or any outdoor activities. We are walking to village and shops. All linens are provided. We have a big off street parking lot.
All rooms have their own TVs. Kitchen is new and fully loaded. With washer and dryer. Great for family get-aways.
We are close to hiking, biking, swimming, rafting, golf, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, tennis, etc. We are in the beautiful Catskill Mountains with beautiful water views of the Schoarie Creek and Hunter Mountain itself. We are all updated as of 2006 with a full renovation of the entire house.

Year Purchased: 2005
Karen Stanbrook is originally from Southampton on the south coast of England. She was part of a sea-faring family. Her great-grandfather was a fireman on the Titanic. Having been the owner of two successful Bed & Breakfasts, in Staten Island New York, Karen has depended upon her friendly attitude and devotion to customer care to bring her success in all her previous ventures. After moving to New York twenty five years ago, a change of pace was in order and Karen chose Upstate and the Hunter Mountain region.

Spent the weekend with friends and really enjoyed it. There's a bathroom in every room, which got us ready and rolling out the door faster. The location was great because we also went to Wyndemere Mnt as well. We had the best of both worlds as far as having town shops close, and we cannot forget about the Kareoke Bar that had Wii !!! Barbecue by day, using the outside deck, full kitchen inside. Plenty of rooms to hang in and games to play. No time to be bored!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

The Pros: It has six rooms, tons of beds and each come with its bathroom (3 with jetted tub) except for the bunk bed room. It's only 1 mile away from Hunter Ski resort. It's fairly clean and inexpensive compare to other in the area. Plenty of cooking utensils. Ample parking space. The Cons: Very weak water pressure if you using the shower head. Burner is kind of weak, took me more than half an hour to boil pot of water (perhaps due to the high elevation and propane gas usage). Game room is not functionable. Room number 6's bathroom doesn't lock.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.
