This BRAND NEW Property is the first beachfront condominium complex built on Maui in over 20 years. The grounds are completely landscaped and include a full size pool, hot tubs and Viking gas grills. Other amenities include spa, fitness center, wireless internet, 60 channels of cable TV and Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player, 52” color LCD TV in living room, 32” color LCD TV in each bedroom, Queen sofa sleeper in living room, 2-zone central air conditioning and full kitchen. Coming in Christmas 2009 is Dukes Maui. This famous Hawaii restaurant will be an onsite beachfront restaurant that is sure to satisfy anyone’s taste buds.
Our condo includes all of the luxury amenities you would expect from a top-of-the-line 5-Star resort property. The upscale furnishings are extremely comfortable and include such features, as granite countertops, Bosch appliances, in-house washer and dryer, 9’ foot ceilings with crown molding, travertine marble floors in kitchen and baths, sound dampening walls to ensure quiet and privacy, and “fold-a-way” glass wall that opens to the Lanai for a comfortable indoor/outdoor living area.
A local shopping center is within walking distance and includes restaurants, supermarket, video rentals, dive & snorkel rentals, and other specialty shops. Several oceanside restaurants are also within walking distance. A wonderful gourmet deli and sundries shop (see picture below of "Aina" market) is located in the lobby on the ground level. The charming port town of Lahaina is a short 10 minute drive away. A boardwalk now connects north and south Ka'anapali beach providing access to additional restaurants and the popular shops at Whaler’s Village in south Ka'anapali beach.

Why the Owner Chose Honua Kai
Maui has been a favorite island of my family and millions of others for years. I can think of no better island to vacation on. This was the first new condo development on the beach in kaanapali in over 20 years and I like the fact that everything would be new and up to date.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
It is a full service resort and a top notch place to enjoy while on vacation.
Star supermarket, shops and services, local restaurants ... mexican, pizza/italian, sandwiches, island flavor.
Great snorkling around Black Rock. This prominent lava feature separates South and North Kaanapali Beach.
Shops, beach-side restaruants, convenience store, tee shirts, snorkel & dive supplies, activities center, sailboat trips, parasailing, etc. This is a great place to spend a day!

And although traveling to various parts of the world to golf and learn about new cultures, I've always found myself wanting to return to the beautiful Island of Maui for its rich cultural history, exquisite beaches, scenic drives and of course the golf.

I did not stay at your condo/rental, but, I just got back from this resort (actually on Wednesday). This is a brand new top-notch resort. I would highly recommend staying here. A few bucks more then other condo rentals, but, well worth it. This is easily worth 5 stars, no question. All the rooms here look just like the pictures. We stayed in a one bedroom and saw couple other rooms, they are all new and modern. Full kitchen. We are thinking of going back in October, maybe we'll rent your place. Actually, this time we are planning on going back with our kids, so, we would definitely be looking at a two bedroom. :-)
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We've been vacationing on the islands for the past 10 years and this resort and the room was the nicest resort we've stayed at yet. The room was very comfortable for our family of 4. The oceanview on the lanai was gorgeous. The kids loved the 3 pools to choose from. Having Dukes restaurant on site was great. We paid a $10.00 parking fee per day which gave us underground parking. If you paid the $25.00 a day fee you would probably get pool towels and the gym included. The room does not have pool towels so you're on your own for either renting them daily ($12.00 for four) or bringing your own or buying some cheap ones at the nearby ABC store ($9.00 per towel). Overall, a great experience!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The condo was very nice, wonderful accommodations and an excellent resort. Duke's restaurant was a excellent place to dine. Pauline couldn't have been more helpful with our questions and making our reservations. I would recommend this property for a wonderful vacation.
