"Smuggs Cabin" is located at the end of a scenic country road in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains - just 15 minutes from the slopes of Smugglers' Notch and 35 minutes from Burlington. Nestled on 17 private acres, this cozy log cabin offers friends and family the ultimate secluded retreat in a pristine setting of wooded, natural beauty.
Smuggs Cabin was newly renovated in 2007 with great care to preserve its rustic appeal. A few of the modern amenities include high-speed WiFi throughout, new cabinets and appliances including a dishwasher and microwave, full-sized washer and dryer and two oversized LCD TV's with HD satellite service, DVD player and surround sound. Smuggs Cabin also boasts a network of well-maintained hiking, snowshoe and cross-country ski trails beginning right outside the front door, as well as easy access to the VAST network of snowmobile trails and Vermont's famous Long Trail, the oldest long-distance trail in the U.S. From the cabin, guests neither see nor hear a road or another home, ensuring a peaceful getaway as well as safety for children and pets.
Smuggs Cabin is managed by the award-winning Smugglers' Notch Inn. The Inn is always pleased to assist cabin guests with activity suggestions, reservations at local restaurants and spas, equipment rentals and any information guests might need during their stay.
