We had a great stay at this house!!! The inside and outside are both beautifully maintained!! The kitchen is equipped with anything you need. We met the owner/ neighbor George who was beyond friendly!!! Very convienient to stores, restaurants and the beach!!! We highly recommend this property!! Great for families or just adults!!!!

When we arrived at the home, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. I was told that Val would come and show us around the home and how to properly operate things inside and outside. She never came and I was forced to figure out the pool lights and the various tv's by myself. Everything else was okay, the neighborhood is very quiet. If you are looking for your deposit back in a timely fashion, you can forget it. I would recommend staying at this home, but don't look for your deposit until weeks later.

Owner response:I would like to respond to this review by saying that Ronisha was shown around the house by the property owners, Connie and Jorge. Connie lives right across the street. Ronisha's deposit refund was processed one week after departure, June 16th, 2011. Normally the credit would have hit her account right away; unfortunately Bank of America took one week until June 23rd to actually fund the credit. Ronisha emailed me and I sent her a copy of the credit memo generated by Intuit. A few days later she emailed me again and I called Intuit and they said that it was in between us and the Bank of America somewhere in transit. We went on a conference call with her bank, Intuit and me and she was very angry and refused to understand that it was a banking glitch. Intuit told her that I had issued her credit and they took the deposit from my account, but it didn't hit her account. I made several phone calls to try and fix this with her. All she had to do was call her bank, but unfortunately she did not understand this was her banks error. I have apologized extensively but Ronisha has refused to accept.

We had a wonderful week with our family. Valerie, George and team made us all at ease and were very helpful. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool at the house and the beach. Our 3 yr old granddaughter "loved Florida"!!!!! Thanks for making our visit so pleasant!

Our family enjoyed staying at this wonderful house. Very spacious, with everything you need. The pool is great, the beds are so big & comfy. The kids enjoyed watching all the fish in the canal. Its location is close to many attractions & resturants. We appreciated the fact that it is also dog friendly. (Several resturants withing minutes to this house are pet friendly as well) A pleasure staying here & dealing with Valerie. Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed our visit at 1162 Garfield St. We were in the area for my brother's graduation weekend. The house was so close to everything, a nice local beach and about 15 or 20 minutes from South Beach. Grocery store and restaurants were just a few minutes from the house. The neighborhood was very quiet, relaxing. The kitchen was very functional for our large group as was the open layout of the house. Loved the updated bathrooms and kitchen. Valerie and her husband were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again.

My friends and I stayed in both The Garfield homes for Memorial Day. Although we had a couple complaints, the neighbor rectified them and the houses were great. However, it is now July 1st and we have yet to receive our deposits back. The home owner has changed her story numerous times and she has also lied on numerous occasions about the release of our deposits. She also double booked the home for one day which made it rather inconvient for our guest at first. I would recommend the home but cross your t's and dot your i's before you sign because she will attempt to play you for a fool. Thanks!!! Jason.

We enjoyed our week at 1162 Garfield. The house was clean and spacious, and situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was conveniently located to all of our activities which included the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Aventura Mall, Gulfstream Park, and Ft. Lauderdale Stadium. We very much enjoyed playing tennis at the public facilities of David Park Tennis Center (har tru), Jefferson Park (hard) and West Lake Park (hard).

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE HOUSE VERY MUCH.IT HAD ALL THE AMENITIES THAT WERE PROMISED.OUR 16 MONTH GRANDSON HAD PLENTY OF ROOM TO RUN AROUND AND WE ALL ENJOYED THE POOL AND THE QUIET SURROUNDINGS.THANKS AJIT AND SUE DESAI

I stayed in this home with my four children for a week. We Loved the home! We found that Val and Jorge were very sweet. They both worked very hard to make sure our stay was pleasurable. The rooms were large and clean. The location was close to shops, beaches and major thruways. I wish the weather was as cooperative as they were!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The spent time at this house was very well, it's laying in a very quite area with a lot of things to do in a view minutes from this house. It's a good place to be there and we can give a recommendation to every one.

The vacation spent at this house was definately well worth it. The house exceeded our expectations as well as the friendly services by Valerie and her husband. If anyone is looking for a vacation and have similar requests this would indeed be a recommendation.
