Wonderful home and nice ocean view from third floor living room. Only slight disappointments were fact that that there was no sizeable third level deck to sit out on where one could enjoy the ocean view. In addition, second master bedroom was at back of house with a full size bed which required either to change master bedrooms mid week with other couple or just decide who had the much nicer room for the entire week. Driving and parking near Burcliffe for beach access was great and worked out well. Felt like we had beach to ourselves. Thank you again to the Topkens for sharing your home and for all your tips /advice.

OUr family spent two weeks at this wonderful Montauk getaway. It was clean, spacious and perfectly situated for a short stroll to the beach which we did twice daily. There was room for everyone to have their own bedroom and bath which made for a more relaxed vacation. The water views were amazing. My husband and I enjoyed our daily five to ten minute walk to the beach each morning from the house. Overall, a great house!

We had an excellent family vacation at this beautiful upscale home. The home was very large and comfortable and clean. Great views and perfectly located in a great neighborhood. We loved the proximity to Gurney's (short 2 minute walk) and our daily walks on the beach. My wife enjoyed the spa at Gurney's and we enjoyed an excellent meal at their restaurant, but most nights we barbecued and enjoyed the ocean views. The owner was a joy to deal with and provided excellent recommendations. I highly recommend this property.

We have been on a lot of vacations all over the states and we have to say that our week long stay at this beautiful home in Montauk will be regarded as one of our favorites. We usually visit Montauk in the spring or the fall as we don't care for the crowds that the summertime brings. We lucked out with finding this beautiful home to rent as it was the perfect situation for us. It was in walking distance to so many of the things we love yet far enough removed from the hustle and bustle that you will experience in town. We were an extended family of seven adults and we found this rental property to be a piece of heaven on earth. The home was extremely spacious and so very comfortable. The view of the Atlantic ocean is to die for. You can even hear the ocean from the house which is music to the ears. We loved the fact that we could do our morning walk or run on the beach. Since we were three families we decided to take turns cooking dinner a few evenings at the house. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed including a huge gas grill. The owner made sure that we knew which beaches would be best for us to go to and he also made some excellent recommendations for dining out. Our favorite restaurant was The Harvest at Fort Pond. We went on a Friday and it was very crowded...so be sure to make reservations. It was family style dining and the food was scrumptious. We spent way too many days visiting a popular bakery in the heart of town and also Ben and Jerry's for dessert. Thank goodness this house is in walking distance to the water as we had to take a lot of walks to burn off those extra calories. The water was very clean and warmer than we expected it to be for July. The men in our group spent one day golfing at the Montauk Downs golf course. Another favorite activity was kayaking on one of the lakes. I think next time we will have to try the jet skis. When you vacation in Montauk you MUST visit the lighthouse. It is a view that will remain etched in your mind forever! There are some great trails there for those who love to hike. There was however just one problem with this vacation. IT WENT WAY TOO FAST! We highly recommend staying at this beautiful house. We know that we will be staying there again in the future. The owner made us feel more than welcome in his GORGEOUS home.

My family loved the house. A perfect layout with three floors, three decks (including one on the rooftop with a great view), and a beautiful front green area. A short walk to the beach and a short drive to the supermarket. I would definitely recommend this property and I plan to go back. Thanks for all the recommendations too!

Can't wait to get back to this wonderful house out on the tip of Long Island. Spectacular views, incredible kitchen, plenty of sleeping space, big yard to run around in and hot tub to relax after a day on the great Montauk beaches! Fishing is outstanding, Hamptons shops and restaurants are close and something about the place is just soothing to the soul. I highly recommend this very special space, just not on the week I want to enjoy!
