Hale Makai is a wonderful retreat! The house has an unobstructed view of the ocean. The sun and the moon come up right in front of the house and lay a golden path over the ocean through the house day and night. The beautiful lush mountain view behind sometimes has several waterfalls and rainbows.
Polynesian decor with tapa cloth and bamboo accents make this home feel very "Hawaiian". Just a short 20 minute drive and you're out of the "country" and back in the "town". Far enough to "get-a-way" yet close enough to a faster pace of life. A mile south at Kualoa Ranch you can take may tours from horseback to dune buggy's to ATV's. You may even get the chance to catch a filming of the hit TV show "LOST" that films on the property.
