This was my family's second stay in this condo and our third at GS Plantation. We love that it is several miles out of town so that it seems we almost have the beach to ourselves and we are away from the hustle and bustle. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and feels like home. We were able to pack much less this year because the condo already has so many of the things we need from a fully equipped kitchen, to numerous beach toys, beach chairs, coolers, kids' toys and books, paperbacks for the beach, games, and a laundry basket for carrying dirty clothes and towels to and from the laundry room! (And many, many more!) Lots of drawers in the bedrooms, hangers in the spacious closets, a pack and play, high chair and bed rails for little sleepers. So many comforts of home that are sometimes forgotten or impractical to pack. The best additions this year, in my opinion, are the fans in each bedroom! The property itself could not be nicer. Numerous outdoor pools and a hot tub, indoor pool and hot tub, super friendly staff everywhere, beautifully manicured grounds...I could go on and on. Let's not forget the beautiful beach!! My children and I found the best shells ever this year! Lambert's restaurant in Foley is not to be missed, and Skipper J Dolphin Cruises was a great and affordable treat this year. The worst part is waiting another year to go back!

Perfect fall getaway!

We just left this condo yesterday and were so sorry to go. The listing for this unit is very accurate and the photos are exactly what you get when you arrive. The unit was sparkling clean when we checked in and is nicely modern. Semra was always wonderful about answering questions and did so cheerfully and quickly. The kitchen has everything you could need when preparing a meal. We were pleased to find two beach chairs, a cooler and beach toys in the storage closet which were very helpful to us in our beach outings. The beach was not crowded, we enjoyed being out away from the Gulf Shores traffic. Definitely stop in Gulf Shores for groceries, though there is a pretty well stocked Dollar General about eight miles up the road toward Gulf Shores. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and family and I would not hesitate to stay here again. We drove out of Fort Morgan several days, one to go up to Alligator Alley, which was a fun experience. We enjoyed eating at the Shrimp Basket in Gulf Shores and while the Original Oyster House was kinda touristy with a gift shop, their food was good and you can get coupons for them and for many other attractions at the visitors centers. We stopped at the Orange Beach visitor center and got all the coupons and literature we needed. Can't wait to come back!

I had stayed previously last fall at the condo with my daughter and family. Was so impressed that I wanted to bring my husband back. We had a wonderful vacation here. The condo is beautifully furnished with all the dishes, pans, linens, etc that you will need. We loved walking on the beach for miles and felt like we had it all to ourselves. The Plantation is a wonderful private resort with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

My family and I recently returned from a week long stay at this condo. It was absolutely beautiful and suited our family of 4 perfectly! The kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare our meals and then some! My daughters loved playing with the toys that were available in the condo as well as some of the beach toys! There was even a pack and play and high chair to use for my 15 month old which made packing so much easier for us! Semra was always very quick to respond to any question that I had and was very accommodating! I would definitely recommend this condo!!

My family and I have stayed at this condo two times now and it was great both times we stayed. We love everything about it. Plenty of toys for the kids to play with and love the thoughtfulness of allowing people to use the things they already have in the condo. We only had one issue but it was resolved very quickly and we greatly appreciated it. My family and I will be coming back to stay in this condo again. Thanks to Semra for all the help all the way around. She is so easy to work with and is quick about getting things done.

The condo was absolutely great!! Just a short walk to the beach and many of the pools!!! Everything we needed (and then some) was provided by the owner!!! Condo was very clean and nicely decorated!! Enjoyed our stay very much!! Would definately stay in this condo again and again!!!!!! Semra was very quick to return all inquiries! Thank you for a great place to stay!!!!!

We have just returned from our stay in this condo at Fort Morgan, and all were sad to leave. We had a phenomenal week, and the listing is 100% accurate....and even better. The owner was so responsive to all communication prior to arrival and during. Usually answered e-mail within a few hours (sometimes sooner). She has stocked the condo with all the extra details that makes a beach vacay perfect. Fully stocked kitchen (better than any other place I have stayed), lots of beach toys for the kiddos, bathrooms with extra storage and very clean too. The pull-out couch was perfect for our kids, and very comfortable. The furniture (particularly in the bedrooms) seemed newer and very clean/nice. The view from the balcony was pretty, and access to the pool and beach was easy and quick. Enjoyed all of the amenities that the resort offered such as free wireless internet, and the owner has great cable to include HBO and other movie channels (not that we spent much time watching t.v-- but at night the flat screens were great!). One of the nicer aspects is that it is on the top floor, and on somewhat of a corner. So, it was VERY quiet. We never were woken up by neighbors or nosey condo activity. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Overall, the Plantation itself was amazing as well. The pools are plenty and clean. Not too crowded either. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. It is a great place for families. We will definitely rent this unit again when we go to Fort Morgan! Thanks so much!!

Our family had a great time at the Plantation. This condo was clean, very well decorated and had everything we needed. There were sand toys, pool toys and even an umbrella. The kitchen was well stocked. Our little boys liked to look through the "new" toys in the condo as well. Although it is a popular place, the pool was not crowded as there are 6 or 7 pools on the property. The beach was also great and we could always find a place off to ourselves, but without walking a long distance. Across from the Plantation is a dock that our boys did fishing and crab hunting on. I think it was the highlight of the trip! Semra couldn't have been easier to deal with. She was very quick to respond and there were no surprises. She did a great job making sure we were comfortable and welcome. Thank you so much for the great vacation! We hope to be able to use your great condo again!

MY HUSBAND AND I SPENT 4 WEEKS HERE JAN18 -FEB 15. WE ENJOYED THIS CONDO VERY MUCH. IT WAS CLEAN ,ROOMY, AND THE VIEW OF THE OCEAN. THERE WAS MANY ACTIVITIES TO DO. WE NEVER WERE BORED. THE KITCHEN WAS FULL OF ALL THE THINGS YOU HAVE AT HOME. WE BOTH WENT SWIMMING AT THE POOL IN THE MORNING. WE HOPE TO COME BACK NEXT WINTER AND STAY AT THE SAME CONDO.

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at the beach. The condo was great- just like the pictures - very roomy and comfortable. It felt like our home away from home. Wonderful Vacation Planned and Implemented Very Last Minute

The listing and previous reviews have described this condo fully and accurately. The view is beautiful from the balcony and the master bedroom. The decor of the condo is lovely. It is well maintained and was meticulously cleaned. The furniture is comfortable and sturdy. We cooked most of our meals and found all the supplies for cooking and serving that we needed. The grill is very convenient to the condo. In addition to the wonderful property, the owner was great to work with. We decided VERY last minute to take a few days of vacation. The owner was more than willing to accommodate us on extremely short notice. With a few emails and phone calls all of the details were worked out. The directions were easy to follow, she gave us several tips to make our vacation go smoothly, and she was willing to answer all of our questions patiently. Through the entire process I felt like I was dealing with a friend who did all she could to ensure that our family had a relaxing and memorable vacation. We would absolutely recommend this condo to friends and family.

Beautiful Decor

This is our second year to use this condo and we just love it! We have visited GSP many times over the past 30 years and this is by far one of the nicest units we have used. We especially like being just steps from the elevator. My grandchildren spent many hours playing with the games and toys that were in the unit. The Brita pitcher was so great to have- since I forgot to pack mine. The condo decor is just beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The view from the master bedroom is lovely. We had four generations in our group and there was something for everyone. We did not want to leave for home! The owners are WONDERFUL to work with and always respond right away to any questions. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Just finished our week at your condo on Sat., June 5th and we had the best time ever! We have stayed at the Plantation many times in the last twenty years and found this to be one of the better units there. We had no trouble at all and enjoyed the updated decor. We cooked some of our meals and found all the equipment necessary was available in the kitchen area. We also appreciated having many staples in the unit. Much better equiped than some we have stayed in. The boys were happy with the TV's & DVD players. Close to the pool and the boardwalk to the beautiful beach! We will certainly consider your condo again when visiting the Gulf Shores area. Also, the owner was wonderful to work with.

Everything about this condo is great! It was beautiful! It was our first visit to the Plantation and I am sure that it will not be our last. The property was so clean as well as the indoor and outdoor pools. The condo was great and the owners were awesome to work with. The condo has new flat screen tvs in both bedrooms which was a plus during the day it rained on us. The owners offered the use of the extras for kids including sand toys, floaties, movies and games. They also offered to share their beach chairs and umbrella. We had one issue on Sunday morning and they had someone out to fix it within hours. Thanks so much for sharing your fantasitic condo with us for our stay at the beach! I would recommend this condo to anyone of my friends or family!

The photos for this condo just begin to show how beautifully decorated it is right down to the extra touche of butterfly towels in bathrooms. It was newly decorated, very clean and equipped with everything we needed down to the beach umbrella. We were able to enjoy a wonderful Mother's Day 2010 weekend and can't wait to return! The location of the condo was very accessible to parking with luggage racks and access ramp with fast elevator which carried us right up to the top (3rd) floor where the condo was just to the right off breezeway. It made it so easy to take all of our things up with no problem in one trip. Sat. night we grilled out downstairs, which also was near the elevator on a small courtyard which worked out great. The balcony view was awesome view of the beach and the pool equipped with very clean restrooms was just steps away. Near the pool was a pier accessible to the beach which made it easier to walk with two areas to sit with shower hose. The owner was VERY helpful in answering all of our questions and concerns and accomodating with our plans. We were able to enjoy the flat screen tv's in both bedrooms and in the den which was a plus. There is not ANYTHING we could find negative with the condo and I would recommend this property to my closest friends and relatives. I'm already thinking of a family get together for a future stay at this property with no hessitation. The Plantation East and West offers many amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tubs, excersize room/sauna, outside pools including kiddie pool, gift shop with food and drinks, library and much more with easy access to Kiva Dunes goft course, which has a restaurant open for B'fast and dinner We ate Friday night at Tacky Jacks restaurant near Ft. Morgan and it was great. We were surprised of how the area had grown with some interesting places to eat, but did not once take away from the QUIET, PEACEFUL atmosphere that you will find on this beach. I do not know of any other beaches I have visited that are this beautful and quiet. My husband was able to fish and even caught one right off the shore "sitting down". There was not much to do upon leaving except to tidy up and take our trash out. On our return trip to Montgomery we were able to stop in Foley and shop at the Outlet stores which is a short drive in for a quick shopping spree. Gulf Shores amusements are 15 mls away, but no traffic jams on the beach! IT WAS GREAT and can't wait to return!!
