All the reviews on this property are accurate and pretty much say it all. Christmas in New Mexico is a special experience in so many places. Old Town Albuquerque's Charm at Xmas is magic. This home was perfect for us to absorb that magic. Thank you for sharing this terrific home. ps great south facing sunny exposure in winter, very tasteful, quiet and secure home,

WE STAYED FOR A WEEK AT CASA AZUL -- WE COULDN'T HAVE HAD A MORE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY. DENISE DID EVERYTHING TO MAKE OUR VISIT COMFORTABLE AND WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE ALL OF OUR NEEDS WERE MET. WE SHOPPED TILL WE DROPPED- VISITED A MUSEUM NEARBY- HAD THE PARKING PLACE FOR OUR RENTAL CAR- CAME & WENT--JUST ENJOYING THE FEELING OF "COMING HOME" AFTER A BUSY DAY. WE ALSO ENJOYED THE "BALOON FESTIVAL" WHILE WE WERE THERE!!! IT WAS SPECTACLAR!!! THE PROPERTY WAS NEAT & CLEAN-- IT WAS LARGER THAN THE PHOTOS INDICATED. WE ENJOYED SEVERAL RESTURANTS NEARBY -- I WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK TO THIS PLACE -- IT IS SPECIAL!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENT IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

We spent 3 nights in January in this lovely cottage immediately off the square in Old Town but quiet as can be. Parking is right out the gate and Old Town and museums are steps away. An unprecedented cold snap was not a problem as we were cozy by the big wood-burning fireplace and were able to cook meals and relax in the beautifully decorated surroundings. Our host, Denise, was friendly and helpful and responded immediately to any requests we had.

This is it! Great location and wonderful hosts. We have completed 4 visits and will be back for more. Located in the heart of town surrounded by a wonderful old town plaza location that will keep you busy by day and provide the night life you prefer. Nights are peaceful and quiet and you will enjoy the star-lit evenings as well. Don't miss a chance for fun, good food and wonderful people. No, I don't own the place, I wish I did!

We and our fur kids have stayed at Casa Azul twice and each time thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is everything as presented and more. Location is just terrific. Very calm and relaxing. Fantastic management plus property reflects care and concern for the guests. Always wish we could stay longer and come more often. Beautifully decorated - very, very clean. Totally a wonderful experience. Access to the museums, parks and of course "Old town" plus convenient to Albuquerque. Great restaurants and local neighborhood bakeries, long time established smaller, unique restaurants and shops, etc. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Azul for a wonderful week. We have rented various places through VRBO and this one is in our top group. Large, comfortable, well furnished apartment with delightful outdoor courtyard; excellent, centralized location; and the very attentive, friendly help of Denise all made the stay perfect. Because we come to Albuquerque periodically to visit family, we will be back to Casa Azul again for sure.

Casa Azul is a GEM! The house is beautifully decorated with artwork and hand crafted furnishings. We loved spending time in our private courtyard, relaxing in front of the wood fire in the living room and being able to walk out the gates with options to visit galleries, restaurants, parks and museums just steps away. The owner was very helpful and available. The place was perfect for our family, we have two children ages 7 and 10. The unit is very clean, the owner has a good eye for detail. The nearby Explora museum is an excellent children's museum.

I can't imagine a better place to stay on a visit to Albuquerque. We explored each day, taking in museums (many within walking distance!), riding Sandia Peak tram, shopping/browsing various other districts around town, but came back and briefly rested in "our" beautifully decorated and air-conditioned casita and then could just walk out the gate and into Old Town for an evening of more great shops and restaurants. We only stayed three nights, but this was our favorite stay of a 25 day road trip through the southwest! It will be recommended to anyone we know that is heading to New Mexico.

We rented this charming Casita for out-of town family members attending our daughter’s recent wedding in ABQ. Several family members stayed here and others dropped by for visits during the day. Everyone loved the intimate patio, portal with swing, art decor & convenience to the Old Town plaza shops & galleries. The owner lives locally & is easily accessible by cell phone. We would definitely refer out-of-town friends there or rent it again ourselves.
