You, along with your family or friends, will be amazed with the comfort and style put together in this townhome.
The house sleeps eight comfortably. It's a great home for large families to stay in one place OR for several couples to go in on together. It's perfect for friends and family to just relax and enjoy each other's company for a football game, wedding, reunion, graduation, or any other Texas A & M University / College Station event.
LOCATION:
The house is in the hub of activity – a ten minute drive from the airport and minutes to the campus. Several quality restaurants are within walking distance, to include Starbucks, Cheddars, Texas Roadhouse, Fish Daddy's Grill House and Wings 'N More. Food and shopping centers are a short drive away!
FURNISHINGS:
As soon as you enter the front door, you will be greeted by warmth, comfort and a hint of western style. The home is furnished everything you need to just relax and enjoy an Aggie event with family or friends. If you don't have football tickets, you can watch the game on the 42" flat screen plasma TV in the living room. The connecting dining room with pub table and breakfast bar seating, offers comfortable space for everyone.
HOME FEATURES:
The house features cool ceramic tile floors in living room, dining room and kitchen, warm carpeting is throughout all the bedrooms, black granite kitchen and bathroom counter tops and Whirlpool appliances.
KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS:
If you choose not to walk to the nearby restaurants, but rather cook for yourself, the fully furnished kitchen includes various cookware, baking and serving dishes, glassware, Corelle service for eight, and utensils. In addition to an electric range with built in microwave and refrigerator with icemaker, the kitchen also features a coffee maker, toaster, blender, hand mixer and a garbage disposal. So you don’t have to do all the clean up yourself, a dishwasher will help you out!
DINING AREA:
The solid wood construction pub style table with exquisite two-tone finish and subtle contemporary style has four 24-inch leather top stools. The adjoining granite breakfast counter, seats four additional guests in matching 30-inch leather back bar stools.
LIVING ROOM:
The soft, micro fiber “leather look” sofa and matching chair with ottoman features a comfortable look. Wood with slate accent sofa and end table add to the rustic feel. The cozy furniture makes watching the big game on the 42’ flat screen plasma cable T.V. feel like you’re scored a touchdown!
BEDROOMS:
All three upstairs bedrooms are furnished with unique, contemporary design furniture. The queen size, super plush / pillow top bed, hypoallergenic pillows, 19” flat screen TV atop the deep merlot finish media chest, adds a sense of sophistication. Each bedroom has a private bathroom within. The private ground floor bedroom is furnished the same with a full bathroom across the hall. Wood hangers, clean sheets, towels, hair dryer and “forgotten” toiletries are also provided.
PATIO:
If it’s not too hot, you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the private patio’s café table and chairs. Folding chairs are available for guest’s use.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All your needs will be met at “Marooned" in Aggieland. The hospitality pantry has an assortment of snack and quick meals. The refrigerator provides you with cold water and juices. Also available for guest’s use is a washer / dryer, laundry soap, ironing board and iron. WiFi wireless connection is available if you bring your laptop. Gateway Villa also has a pool for guest’s use.
The house does NOT accommodate pets and we appreciate NO SMOKING in the house.

Year Purchased: 2008
I live in Pennsylvania and love teaching transitional first grade in a public school. I'm the proud mom of a son who attends Texas A&M University in his third year as a member of B-Co in the Corps of Cadets. He has also joined the Texas Army National Guard. I'm also the proud mom of a daughter who is a freshman at Penn State University. She has joined the Army ROTC. I volunteer as secretary for a non-profit organization, Delaware Boots on the Ground, which offers assistance to DE military members and their families. I'm also the secretary for the DE National Guard Youth Camp.
Why the Owner Chose College Station
A friend and I were visiting my son during the Final Review of his "fish" year. Even though I made reservation for that visit in December, the closest hotel we found was 50 minutes away in Brenham! Rather than traveling back to the hotel, we went to Starbucks to wait between activities. We noticed an Open House sign for the townhomes and my friend suggested "for shits and giggles" lets go look at them! She had real estate experience and I had my first born in Texas. The rest is history...
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
It was important to me to have a "home" to go to that I could just relax and enjoy my family. "Marooned" in Aggieland was put together with that in mind. It has all the comforts of my PA home and it's perfectly located to everything I need when visiting. As an investment property, I want our guests to have that same feeling. It's the perfect place for family and friends to gather together to simply enjoy each other's company while perhaps attending a fun activity in the area!

THANK YOU for providing the absolute PERFECT place for my family to gather as we celebrated the graduation of my Aggie daughter. I cannot tell you how fortunate I feel to have been able to reserve the condo and I will spread the word to all of my Aggie Mom friends that this is the very best in accomodations that College Station has to offer! Everything was perfect...great location, comfortable beds, a loaded pantry and fridge, beautiful decor, all provided with a touch of class and wonderful Aggie hospitality, complete with the "Howdy" sign over the hallway entrance!
