Located on the famous Kaanapali North Beach, this unit is on the 8th floor inside the courtyard facing the ocean. There are spectacular views from the lanai of the ocean, Molokai, beautiful sunsets, and the luscious waterfall landscaping below. This unit is very conviently located.
We are happy to announce the completion of our new koa flooring in the living room and bedroom.
This one bedroom, one bath unit has 717 Square feet of interior space and a large lanai. There are all new appliances in the full kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit. There is a king Serta bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The unit is fully furnished and decorated with a Hawaiian style theme. The renovated bathroom includes granite top vanity with drawers, sliding bar adjustable shower, and exhaust fan.
There are lounge chairs at the beach and pool. We also have an assortment of beach toys and boogie boards you can use during your stay.
On property there are two heated pools, two Jacuzzis, a fitness center, sauna, tennis courts, shuffle board, pickle ball, BBQ, game room, massage, convenience store, restaurant, shops, beauty salon and Camp Kaanapali children's program.
The grounds are gorgeous with free Hawaiian entertainment every Wednesday evenings. When you enter onto this property, you will feel the true "Aloha Spirit", with it's beautiful waterfalls, koi ponds, a beautiful gazebo and one of the pools right next to the gorgeous sand beach. Rent gear at the poolside stand and snorkel or dive right off the property where you can see numerous turtles and fish. Whale season is December - April where humpback whales can be seen frequently right from your lounge chair.

Why the Owner Chose Kaanapali Shores
We love living in Maui, but we don't live on the beach. We wanted a place right on the beach that our guest could enjoy when they come. We spent a long time looking at all the condos. We loved the beach and that this condo was a full resort with all the amenities. Most of the condos only had a pool to offer. We are proud to have our guest stay here where they can have a quality vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The kids love to build things in the sand. Sometimes its a whole village, or a big hole, or sea creatures. One time it was a giant plate of spagetti. You never know what to expect.
We love to walk down the beach and see what's going on. It's sandy all the way to black rock (about 2 miles). Depending on the weather we see kite boarders, surfers, swimmers, boogie boarders, snorklers, divers, canoes, whale watchers, surf fishers, joggers, and of course sun bathers.
After we have had enough sand and sea for one day we go for dip in the heated pool. The resturant serves food pool side. The kids can swim while we order the food, eat, and then jump right back in while we relax and take our time.
I love being able to go right across the street 24 hours a day to get anything we might need from the Star Market.

We live on Maui year round and rent our condo directly to you without using a management company to do the business for us. We hope you will feel at home in our 2nd home. Even though this is a condominium complex, it feels like a resort setting except we do not have daily maid service. We stock our unit with the necessary paper products, clean linens and towels, and everything you expect when you rent a furnished apartment.

We just can't compliment the place enough. We are pretty picky people and it is difficult to think of any real criticisms. The staff was friendly.... helpful..... and knowledgeable of the island. The facility itself...(although we did not explore every inch) was well maintained and beautiful. As for Hank and Linda's condo, we were extremely pleased. The place was spotless when we arrived and well equipped with everything we needed. Also, and more importantly, Hank and Linda (the owners) add a personal touch to the rental transaction that adds tremendously to the experience. They were readily available and attentive throughout our stay. We didn't have any problems with the condo, but I am confident that if we had, Hank and Linda would have handled it in a flash. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at this condo in the future and we can't wait to get back to Maui! Live Pono!

This was my first trip to Maui.We are a family of four,two teenagers and two adults. I have never stayed at anything other than a hotel with maid service. Our check in went smoothly and hotel is quite nice. The room was a bit high for us as it was pretty windy this time of year.So we didn't really get to enjoy the balcony.It makes for a great view though. The master bedroom was very comfortable but could use some new pillows. The bedding was good ,the mattress excellent. The fold out bed ,which I slept on a couple of times, is horrible. You can feel all the springs, and the spare sheets that came for it were very poor quality and even had a rip in one corner.Again better pillows are needed. The new floors are lovely.The new bathroom is a plus but felt it should have been cleaned behind the toilet and scrubbed a bit around the baseboards. The kitchen has pretty much what you need, fair quality.Nothing fancy. I would have liked to had maid service every third day for sheets and towels.I washed them myself. That being said it is nice to have a washer and dryer in the suite. The price was fair for what we got and it was nice to have the extra room with teenagers. The key lock on the main door to the suite was sticky(probably due to the salt air) and the automatic lock to leave didn't work, and had me in a panic when came time to check out.Phoned the house keeper who told me that was fine and she was on her way.There is no safe(that I could find) in the room.Not a big deal but nice for passports and stuff.It was a bit noisy,could here the people next door talking and when they left the slamming doors woke us a few times. All and all it was a lovely trip,it you want somewhere basic to hang your hat and enjoy Maui, this is a great place to stay for a reasonable price.For the price we paid, we could have bought a foamy for the pullout and a few more pillows ourselves.I give it a 2.8 -3 star rating.My sister stayed in a room that was a 5 or higher on the same property,she paid for it, but it was still at a 3 star property.Just depends how much time you want to spend inside. Thanks Debby for letting us rent out your place.Just so you know ,we are pretty fussy.

Place was absolutely beautiful, inside and outside. The room had everything you need and then some. There was a market right across the street and restaurants you could walk to easily.

We have stayed at this property several times before and we love the location. This condo was very well stocked with supplies and it was decorated beautifully. It had everything we needed to completely enjoy our stay. We highly recommend it and we look forward to coming back again sometime soon. The owners were wonderful to work with and very accommodating and prompt in their communication. The unit has been updated and is very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location is great! The beach, pools and shopping were so close by,that it made for a very relaxing time. The view is gorgeous. A perfect place to spend a vacation. We give it the highest rating possible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was great--everything we neeed was provided.The grounds are beautiful and extremely well kept. Having a choice between the garden pool or oceanside pool was nice. Being able to sit on lounge chairs on the beach especially late in the afternoon until the sun set was truly a wonderful experience.The condo location was great as we went to watch the golf at Kapalua. It would be nice if a parking spot was provided sfor guests wouldn't have to pay the $9 daily rate to park.
Owner response:I agree our association does a great job maintaining our facility. Thats one of the reasons we choose to own this condo. The parking arrangement comes with the package, even the Aston guests have to pay the fee.

We stayed with 4 people in this condo and it was LOVELY!! Kept very clean, lots of space, great balcony. The only thing to mention is there is no radio or IPOD hook up, so if you want music come prepared with Ipod speakers and such. The location on the island was perfectly close to everything. Great pool and beach area. Note you have to pay for parking, not included in price. I love that we had a kitchen and washer/dryer. It sleeps 4 very perfectly. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning. Also it's situated perfectly on the property. Great view. We were so pleased with it!!

I stayed in this codo last April and would definately recommend it!The condo is exactly as described and shown in the pictures..the unit is clean and the price is reasonable.I'm planning another trip to Maui in 2010 and will be checking the availability of Doug & Debbie's condo.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We liked the resort very much, the ground, facility and the LOCATION are great. We like the condo very much also. Clean and comfortable, and very quiet. The only suggestion I have is to put a clear instruction next to the themostat about shutting the balcony door and the meaning of the "balcony" indictor on the themostat's screen. It took me a bit time to figure out why the air was not working. The balcony door appeared to be shut but it has to be shut certain way for the air conditioner to work. Thank you for sharing your condo.

This condo and resort is one the best places I have stayed on Maui. You get allot for your money. Great ocean views from the condo! I saw two whales surface and dive right from the condo balcony. The sunset is unbelievable each night. You can scuba dive right from the resort beach. I was able to see lots of green sea turtles and marine life in just 30 foot of water right off the beach. I highly recommend this condo !!!
