Our condominium is located in the new 65 unit Paseo del Sol development in Playacar, a gated community on the southern end of Playa del Carmen and just a 10 to 15 minute walk to the famed 5th Avenue.
A great deal of personal effort went into completing and furnishing the unit. We drove the length of Mexico to find building materials and furniture. Handmade Talavera and Saltillo tiles were used throughout. The cabinets, vanities, furniture and lamps were all custom made in Mexico.
Our Riviera May home has almost 1500 square feet of living space with two master suites, one with a queen sized bed and the other with either two twins or a king sized bed. The condominium is on the second floor with stair and elevator access and overlooks the cenote waterfalls and one of the largest swimming pools in the area.
Paseo del Sol offers an on site tennis court, an exercise room with sauna and beautifully landscaped spacious grounds adjacent to the Playacar golf course. Guest privileges to the Reef Club across the street provide access to the beach and ocean. With an identity card obtained at reception, use of their beach, pools and chairs is at no charge. They also offer an all inclusive daily option from 8am to 6pm for a fee of $40 per adult and $20 for each child.
Evening use is also available. Please return the card to reception before checking out.
