                            We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean, well maintained home. It is a fun development in Playa Hermosa with a huge pool, with two water-slides (my kids LOVED the Pool) and a swim up bar for our daily smoothies and lunch. There is also a park, mini golf, sports bar, etc. The complex is very quiet and the people living there / visiting were very nice. The security card was wonderful and very helpful. We did not have a car, but it was a fast 15-20 minute $15 taxi ride from the airport and we stocked up on groceries before coming to the house (however, there is a very reasonable and good size grocery store a block away from the complex). We enjoyed the beach and walking north along the rocks at low tide. We snorkeled on the north side of the beach and saw lots of fish, rays, etc. The beach is beautiful and only a 10 minute walk from the house, it was not very crowded which we loved. There are lots of places close by for dinner or you can cook at home and enjoy your meal on the fabulous deck, what a view! We will definitely be back! Thank you Noreen for the great vacation.

                            Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

                            We had a really nice time staying here. It is a beautiful villa, nicely decorated, fully equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It had a great view of the bay from the patio. There were only a few occupants of nearby villas (some of them belong to a hotel) so the place was very quiet and peaceful. It is a great location for a family type of vacation. We were glad that we brought movies with us (there is a DVD player in the villa) since there is not much you can do there after it gets dark. We had a very busy schedule taking tours and doing different activities during the day so we didn't mind having relaxing evenings. There were a few nice restaurants in the area and a grocery store just down the street. Great beach for swimming except for a day or two of swarming jellyfish.The highlight of our stay was a rescued monkey Lisa who visited us first on Christmas morning and returned frequently after that. There were signs asking not to feed or play monkeys but Lisa was hard to resist ( we only fed her small slices of banana). The property owner gave us some great tips as far as tours and activities and the property manager booked us a few trips at discounted price. We found that the listing description was accurate and the property was well maintained

                            Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
