Your home (cabin) is just magnificent Everything was perfect! We arrived home last night to 97 degree heat at 9:30pm. It made us want to get back on the plane and head right back to your cabin! We played golf 3 times, toured the Rocky Mountain National Park several days, and spent much time sitting out on the front porch or in the back room just ENJOYING the view. My sister's family, who live in Boulder, CO joined us for a couple of days and were amazed at how beautiful the property was. During our stay, we enjoyed Mary's Lake Lodge, Dunraven's, Basilica's and Ed's Cantina. Thanks so much for the suggestions! The master bedroom was like staying in a FIRST CLASS hotel . . .very spacious and comfortable. The WiFi was a great plus for us since we had a little bit of work that needed to be completed while on vacation. We loved reading, relaxing and enjoying watching the deer so much that we never felt the need to turn on a TV once! We also spent time "checking out the YMCA" for future visits with our family. What a great place to have relatives visit . . .something for all. Again, we can't express in words just how special this vacation was to us!!

Thank you!!! Our family had a blast staying at the cabin! So Cute and Comfortable! The boys loved all the activities at the Y and their daily encounters with elk and deer. The bunkhouse was perfect for the boys and their friends. It was nice to have them "right there", while giving them their own space. I did not think I would cook on vacation........ but the kitchen made me want to bake a cobbler and throw dinner together, it might have been the great views out of the kitchen window. And I came home and bought new cookware after using yours. The dining room table was a great size to fit our crew of 12. Every night we watched the stars from your enclosed sun porch with a glass of wine which really topped off a great day!! On 2 days we hiked straight from the cabin into the park. Thanks for all the great advice on hikes, restaurants and activities. We used them all. My husband took the boys on an overnight camping trip in the park. Your cabin is Magical!!! It made me want to return for a couples weekend.

We vacationed in this cabin in May 2010 and loved it! The web pictures are attractive but cannot give the full warmth & views the cabin offers in person. It was more beautiful than we anticipated. The cabin is gorgeous, immaculate, & warm. The kitchen is great & the nearby Safeway has wonderful produce. The cabin is great just to relax in, read a book, & just hangout but it's located on the perimeter of the YMCA Camp of the Rockies and in very close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park so there are a lot of things you can do from your kids enjoying a huge craft making center on the Y property to taking breathtaking hikes in the mountains. We read, watched some basketball playoff games, played games, went to the stables & craft center, took pictures, hiked long and short trails, & went to the oldest operating movie theater in the US. The beds are very comfortable. The sunroom offers amazing views of the mountains. The washer & dryer allowed us to pack more lightly. We heartily recommend this cabin. We enjoyed our week at the cabin thoroughly.

The cabin is wonderful. It is really more of a resort home than a rustic cabin. Even though the original cabin was built in 1907, it has been updated to include all the modern amenities. As one of our sons said, "This is a perfect combination of mountain ruggedness and cabin luxury." The outdoor activities are great. The setting is spectacular. The view from every window and porch is incredible, snow covered peaks and plenty of wildlife. The bunkhouse is great for kids. Our boys enjoyed playing poker and board games at night, while we could have a quiet conversation on the porch. On our trip, the days were filled with horseback riding, mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking and YMCA organized activities. There is something for everyone-putt putt golf, capture the flag, kickball, arts and crafts, tennis and game room. We highly recommend this vacation and can't wait to return!

This is the most peaceful and restful place I have ever stayed. The home is lovely, beautifully furnished with amazing views from anywhere in the house. The additional bunkhouse lends itself to families with teens, extended families with children or your favorite girl's group. Walk out of your cabin to nearby trails for hiking or walk down to the YMCA for crafts, swimming, horseback riding or a quick breakfast at the main lodge. We were joined daily by mule deer, elk, humming birds, chipmunks and rabbits. Truly a wonderful place for all age groups and family gatherings.
