  This was an amazing weekend stay! I live north of Atlanta and wanted to take a good friend somewhere for her birthday. We could not have been more pleased with 'The Treehouse'. The drive to get here was relaxing, enjoyable, and SHORT. The cabin is beautiful, very cozy, and perfect! Best of all is the view. AMAZING! We sat on the deck and read for hours. One of our days we went to Clayton and walked around the town. Great shops! Great food! Our second day it rained, however, the cabin is so cozy with it's fireplace, available DVD's, and equipped kitchen, we kept very occupied! Thank you for providing us with such a great place. We will def be back and will recommend it to ALL our friends!

  We enjoyed our trip from beginning to end. The house is lovely and what a view! The owners are very professional and friendly. Lucy answered all my questions and was very easy to deal with. The view is amazing, and the house is so tastefully decorated. It is spacious and every detail makes for an enjoyable trip. We will be coming back!

  We were very pleased with the Tree House. It was very comfortable and had all the things needed to make it just like home. The view from the deck was wonderful. We went to the Dillard House to eat which is just about fifteen minutes away. We would recommend the Tree House to anyone.

  We booked two nights and it was very cozy. I feel like it was not managed well I was out at 11:00 pm in the very cold changing the large propane tank so I could use the gas logs the tank was completely empty. The hot tube was at a cool 87 degrees and never got above 91 degrees. After contacting owner all we got was It is hard for us to tell when gas runs out and try turning jets on then try it with jets off to make the hot tube heat up which nothing worked. Dont get me wrong it is a very romantic place I think we just picked a bad time for management. We actually booked two nights and left after the first night because if the hot tub doesnt work all we could do is watch tv and we decided to go home and do that. I myself have a rental and i make it priority to make sure everything is in working order before I rent it or I fix it with my customer and not make excuses.

  Owner response: We were contacted at about midnight about the propane tank and the hot tub. In the morning I responded first thing. I apologized for the tank being empty, but there was a full spare tank right beside the other one. I explained to him that we are at the mercy of our guests. If the previous guest had told us the tank was empty, I would have changed it myself. Or I would have driven up there first thing Saturday morning to change it for them. However it was already done. As far as the hot tub, we have had no problems with it. Evidently the previous guest left the jets on, which normally would not have been a problem. However the weather this weekend was about as cold as we have had in Georgia this winter. When the jets are on, they are bringing cold air into the hot tub. I called first thing Saturday AM to the hot tub company in Clayton, Unfortunately I did not get a response until much later in the day. I immediatley texted the guest and told him the problem was that the jets were on and they were bringing cold air in. We have since ammended our paper work and notified the cleaning crew to make sure that the jets are completely off after each rental. Normally I would have offered an addition refund to the guest for the inconveniece. However we had already discounted the price below our special winter rate.

  We were down from Mass. visiting our daughter's family in Atlanta and made a last minute decision to spend the weekend in the mountains because they had a wedding to attend at Chota Falls. We found the Tree House on VRBO in the morning, e-mailed and got a quick response. Lucy and Doug were a pleasure to work with, the booking process was effortless and we were in the house by afternoon. The house was perfect for us, 2 couples and a 6 year old. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub, the view is spectacular and the deck has plenty of space to just sit and relax.

  Just as described & photographed; very clean and well-maintained. Beautiful home and heavenly view, even in the fog or rain. Steep mountain climb (especially arriving at midnight), but still easily accessible to local towns, restaurants and attractions. Owner's couldn't have been easier to work with. Would highly recommend this home for quiet, comfort and location. Enjoyed eating at Oinkers and Mama G's, the fettucini alfredo with chicken was AWESOME! Next time we're grilling steaks from Andy's Grocery, they looked great. Hot tub was the perfect way to end each day of playing tourist. We want to return when local attractions open back up in the spring. Thank you for sharing your home.

  We shared this place with another couple and it was a wonderful cabin with anything you would ever want or need with views out of this world. A great place to golf ,antique shop or just unwind. I will definately rent this place again.

  My wife and I statyed at the Tree House for a week and had a WONDERFUL time. Everything was as listed, as well as clean and maintained. This place is so serene and peaceful that it feels like being at home.The cabin is loaded as described, plus super-equiped with additional items that we weren't sure they had. We intend to come back again with the kids and stay at the Tree House!!!!

  We stayed for a week in this immaculate house at the top of a mountain. The view was best described by one of our own guests who said, "This can't be real. It looks like a painting." There was plenty of everything available: dishes, towels, linens, books, DVDs, and more. Unfortunately we brought our Florida weather with us, so we didn't use the sparkling clean hot tub on the spacious deck or the brand new fire ring. We will definitely be going back! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
