This is a lovely, immaculate, newly renovated, four bedroom home, with a large, private backyard and five (5) acres of sloping fields that lead out to spectacular views. Outdoor seating and a picnic table with propane grill makes dining “al fresco” a snap. Or, retreat to the screened–in porch and enjoy the same lovely views, protected.
There is a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed on the ground floor, three more bedrooms on the 2nd floor: one with two twin beds and another with a full-sized bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. The third bedroom on the 2nd floor is quite charmingly set apart in its own "wing" for extra privacy. With a queen sized bed and separate sitting /reading lounge, it makes a terrific master bedroom or luxurious guest room. Another full bathroom is on the ground floor. The two "masters" share this bathroom. Each bedroom has its own window unit AC to keep things cool
The kitchen is newly renovated and well appointed with kitchen gadgets, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and plenty of pots and pans. The dining room seats 6 – 8 people. The living room is cozy, has a wood burning fireplace and also has AC to cool the main part of the house. An office space on the ground floor also houses a new stacked washer and dryer.
This home is in Glendale, a quiet, private, area of Stockbridge, and just a short walk to the Rockwell Museum and down the street from Viva, a terrific "tapas" restaurant. Ten minutes to Tanglewood and Shakespeare and Company, Just 5 minutes to Berkshire Theater Festival!
The Berkshires is known for its wonderful shopping, restaurants, galleries, live theater, hiking trails, swimming holes, and ski resorts. We pretty much have it all here and Glendale - a charming nook in Stockbridge - is central to all of these activities and more. Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow as well as many wonderful museums are all within a shirt drive through the most stunning roadways in the Northeast. This home provides a wide array of cultural recommends as well as a thorough home-information packet. Come on in and relax.... You're on vacation!
Most pets are welcome....wifi, basic cable, no smoking please! cell service can be iffy in the berkshires but we offer local and unlimited long distance calling with the US... Available for long or short term. I have more info and other pictures to show you.
