Like many others, we use vrbo often and with great success. But I must say, this is our favorite find so far! The pictures cannot show just how unique and spread out the property is and all the different little spots with benches and unique finds around the extra large lot! The interior of this place is head to toe done A+. Again such unique decor and a top of the line interior remodel, my guess. The 'guest nook'picture is deceiving...it is really a perfect second bedroom, again full of personality and VERY comfortable beds for two. The kitchen is amazingly stocked with every comfort of home and more. Excellent linens and beefy fluffy towels. But the sweet spot is the swimming pond and mini rapids just across the street!! We went there every day for a dip and a lounge and always ran into such nice locals. Kern River Tours were such nice people or whitewater rafting...we found them to be the most reasonably priced as well as with the most experience. All in all, we will definitely return!

This property is a treasure! We rented this property as well as the one in the rear for our friends. This particular property is decorated beautifully, it is so cozy you feel at home right away! The deck in the front is great for just laying around or for BBQ's! We did both! Anyone who stays here will really love it ! We are already planning our return visit.

I travel frequently for pleasure and use VRBO a lot. You never can quite tell what you are going to get. Sometimes it's the thrill of victory and sometimes it's the agony of defeat. This cabin is truly the thrill of victory. It was easy making the reservations and getting additional information. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure. The cabin is well situated close to the river and comes with access to a private beach along the river. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the river. It was also nice to sit on the deck with a glass of wine, listen to the river as the sun sets and watch as the mountains behind to the east get back lit. Very relaxing. The interior of the cabin was spotless, and I'm a cleanliness freak. The gourmet kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We cooked several meals there. Great propane BBQ on deck as well as tables to allow eating outside. The interior decor has to be seen to be believed. Where do they get this stuff? My kids were giggling as we took our first tour through the house. We hadn't been inside more than 5 minutes before the kids said they wanted to come back. By the end of the trip we were all in agreement. The owners have obviously spent much time, money and effort in creating an excellent spot to come to when visiting the Kern River area. We'll definitely be back.

Just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin. My husband and I had the best time ever. The cabin was decorated beautifully, cozy, clean and very welcoming. Than you for allowing us to bring our two little dogs so we didn't have to worry about leaving them at home with the kids. Loved listening to the river at night as we fell sleep. We just loved being in your home and hope to come up again soon.
