Pelican Bay is a private community located just north of Naples FL and is situated alongside two and one-half miles of pristine white sand beaches bordered by the Ritz Carlton to the north and the Grand Resort to the South. Pelican Bay offers two tennis centers with pros on staff and exquisitely maintained Har-Tru (clay) tennis courts, and a state of the art fitness center. It has two private beach pavilions situated on either end of two and one-half miles of beaches, each with indoor/outdoor bars/ restaurants/snack bars, lounge chairs, umbrellas that come complete with beach boys (!) Both offer morning aerobic "classes right at the beach, and spectacular views of sunsets over the Gulf. Shuttle trams offer easy access upon wooden boardwalks that snake through spectacular native Florida mangroves, servicing both beach pavilions. The drivers are locals who love to point out the wild life highlights of the day, be it the multitude of waterfowl, turtles, alligators, dolphins and otters. There is 570 acre of conservation area and over 40 acres of parks and private nature and biking trails.
Oyster bay, which winds its way through this magnificent mangrove, can be explored in canoes and kayaks available on a 1st come, 1st serve basis at no cost.
