Secluded cabin on top of Private drive. Three acres of mature hardwoods bordering the National Forest, makes this newly renovated cabin a tranquil retreat. Enjoy spectacular mountain views from the wrap around covered porch. The screened-in porch is a perfect place for outdoor dining. Inside you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with new appliances that is open to the great room with vaulted ceilings. The great room features a stacked stone wood burning fireplace with gas starter and a large screen TV, with a DVD player. It also has a sleeper sofa. One bedroom has a king size bed and private bathroom. Second bedroom has a queen size bed with it's own private bathroom. There is also a twin size mattress in the master bedroom closet that can be used. You can also bring your sleeping bags and sleep out in the screened porch (kids love it).
Just steps from the cabin is a small creek and walking trails that bring you into the national forest. Some of North Georgia's best trout and fly fishing is only minutes away at Wildcat Creek and Dick's Creek. The cabin is just a short 5 minute drive to Lake Burton and the center of Clayton for shopping and dining. It is also close to Chattooga River where you can go tubing or white water rafting. Also just a short 5 minute drive is The Tiger Drive-In, a unique old time drive-in that shows newly released movies.
Other local attractions are: Tiger Mountain Vineyards, wine tasting (5 min.), Tallulah Falls (10 min.), Sliding Rock at Wildcat Creek (10 min.), Dillard House (15 min.), Highlands (30 min.), Skiing and Snow tubing (40 min.), Biltmore (1 hour), Cherokee Casino (1 hour).

We really enjoyed our stay beginning the day after Christmas. The house is furnished very nicely and well stocked with supplies. Very clean and the pics were accurate. Excellent kitchen to cook in with a large dining table. Wished we had been able to use the patio for a meal but it was too chilly, we did get to see snow though so that made up for it. Also, we appreciated the fact that there was chopped wood ready for us to use in the fireplace. It is an excellent place to go to relax. I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend to a friend.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My family stayed at this cabin for Thanksgiving this year. It was even more beautiful than the pictures show it to be. There were six of us and there was plenty of room. The cabin was clean, the views were fantastic, porches and fireplace were my favorites! The owner was wonderful to work with. I'd definitely stay again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

The location is also amazing, up a small mountain, at the top, with a hiking trail literally leading into the woods from the driveway. You are also within a quick drive to a number of great outdoor hiking locations. The amenities inside the 'cabin' are very nice -- with a very large, modern kitchen (four of us were able to prep meals together), a great wood-burning fireplace, and a large TV with a DVD player. The back porch, that looks out over mountains, is also awesome, with swinging chairs that make for quite a relaxing stay. This is a great place to stay, particularly for two couples. The bedrooms each have their own bathroom, which is really nice, and one room has a king bed and the other a queen. Very comfortable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I went and stayed in this beautiful cabin for our anniversary in February 2011. The cabin was exactly as pictured. The owner is very pleasant and very helpful. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL, very neat/clean, seculded from other neighbors, but close to all of the local attractions. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and can not wait to visit again soon.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The owner is very helpful, and pleasant to work with. This cabin is very clean, and well-appointed. It is accessible, and the yard is kid-friendly. It is secluded and serene, yet convenient to all of the local attractions. The photo on VRBO is the exact view from the back porch. What a very nice cabin to visit. Close to everything, but so private and so quite. We spent the July 4th holiday at this cabin and hope to return again soon. You will find everythng you need for your visit and as the cook, I can assure you, all you need to bring to this kitchen is your groceries. Thanks for working with us to make this visit possible.
