Secluded cabin on top of Private drive. Three acres of mature hardwoods bordering the National Forest, makes this newly renovated cabin a tranquil retreat. Enjoy spectacular mountain views from the wrap around covered porch. The screened-in porch is a perfect place for outdoor dining. Inside you will find a large fully equiped kitchen with new appliances that is open to the great room with vaulted ceilings. The great room features a stacked stone wood burning fireplace with gas starter and a large screen TV, with a DVD player. One bedroom has a king size bed and private bathroom. Second bedroom has a queen size bed with it's own private bathroom. There is also a twin size mattress in the master bedroom closet that can be used, along with a pack n' play. You can also bring your sleeping bags and sleep out in the screened porch (kids love it).
Just steps from the cabin is a small creek and walking trails that bring you into the national forest. Some of North Georgia's best trout and fly fishing is only minutes away at Wildcat Creek and Dick's Creek. The cabin is just a short 5 minute drive to Lake Burton and the center of Clayton for shopping and dining. It is also close to Chattooga River where you can go tubing or white water rafting. Also just a short 5 minute drive is The Tiger Drive-In, a unique old time drive-in that shows newly released movies.
Other local attractions are: Tiger Mountain Vineyards, wine tasting (5 min.), Tallulah Falls (10 min.), Sliding Rock at Wildcat Creek (10 min.), Dillard House (15 min.), Highlands (30 min.), Skiing and Snow tubing (40 min.), Biltmore (1 hour), Cherokee Casino (1 hour).
